Yesterday's Condo

I think I have figured out why the aliens took over Cinco's body - they want to make me start getting up earlier in the morning! They sure know how to make sure I'm awake when I do! :shock: Holy cow!! I am beginning to wonder if the aliens actually abducted him months ago, and just returned him this week, as we had a Cinco serenade this morning at 3:30 am. Haven't had one of those in ages (and can't say that I've missed it). I heard him banging around and howling. He was wandering in parts of the first floor he doesn't visit any more. It triggered a helicopter launch for a test - not low, just surfing! He's over on the sofa now, but very restless. I gave him some 6% at +4.5, but I think he might be still dropping, so time to get out the 8%. Cowboy Cookout is waiting in the wings. I'm loving all this green, but I'm still confused about where it's coming from, and where are we going? I guess I'll just hang on for the ride! Oop, there's the timer. Be right back.

Okay, he was actually up - 61. I gave him the 8% anyway, as he'd already smelled it and was trying to get at it! We'll do the next test sans food, assuming he's still over 60. Glad I had no plans for today. ;-)

Sasha seems to be doing fine. She ate well last night after we got home from bowling and cuddled with me all night. When I got up this morning, she went to her dry food and started eating. By the time I got upstairs again with her moist breakfast, she was settled in the back of Mark's closet. She ate about half her food, and I left the rest within reach, as she will probably decide she wants it after 30 minutes or so.

Today is just hanging around home, doing tasks I've been putting off - filing, cleaning and other fun stuff. Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday.

Cinco didn't get the Cowboy Cookout after all. The 8% MaxCat Venison Chunks did the trick. He's surfing so nicely - he must have learned that on the alien ship. :lol:

Yes, Ann. If this is what an abduction does, I hope everyone's kitties get abducted soon!

Wendy, Dr. S told me that the side effects, if any, would kick in 2-3 days out, so I'm prepared but hopeful. Paws crossed she's one of the lucky ones.

Deanna, you have a great point! Maybe Mr. Greenie is actually an alien and he was part of the abduction team! Well, they can come any time if this is what they do!

Liz, I did get to go to the bowling alley, but technically did not go bowling. I had to give it up years ago after major back surgery. I wasn't very good, so no great loss. I go to support the DH, and because it's a social event for me. We've been on this league for twenty years now - only the secretary has been a member longer! I'm considered part of the league because I've been there so long and I do the record keeping for the end of season sweepers. Much as I love my kitties, it's great to get out and spend some time with two-legged friends! And then there's the garlic pretzel bites.... Mmmmmm! :lol:

We should have known... If they couldn't go to the lagoon without each other, you can bet the two of them wouldn't leave the planet without the other one :lol:

Chris, I'm telling you, these two are up to their whiskers in something together! I'm glad they surfed nicely. Now we see what they're gonna do tonight. It looks like China has a head start. I hope Cinco follows.

Amy, when they are fresh and hot, and just barely golden, they are to die for!! I'm a garlic fiend, anyway, but these are just the yummiest!
