Hello LL!!

Yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=125209

Billie had a gradual bounce breaking descent in her AM cycle, and it left me with a nice PMPS! I guess I'm not going to bed anytime soon, but that's okay :smile:

Today was a very chilly rainy day in upstate NY. Brooklyn let me know that it is officially fall here by using her "winter bed" for the first time since May (see picture). She used it all through last winter, stopped using it when the weather got warm, and today, got cozy and took a long nap in it. Billie curled up on top of a pair of flannel PJs that I left on the chair and napped too.

Still no new hives (woo!), still no change in the coughing.

I hope everyone had a nice day! Vines to all the cats and beans needing vines.

Glad to see a Billie condo before I head off to bed! We've been hit with cooler weather, too. Amazing how cuddly all the kitters become when that happens. They just use me for my blankets. I feel so cheap. :lol:

Love the pics. What's the toy in the first one?

Sending lots of safe surfing vines for tonight, continued no-new-hives vines, and anti-cough vines.

Thanks Julie and Shelly!! :smile: Billie is sitting with 2 toys - the little one is a catnip stuffed horse, and the green one is a catnip stuffed cactus. There are catnip stuffed creatures scattered all over my apartment.

Love the pics - both so adorable!! :-D Glad to hear no hives, still coughing though? Bummer! Tons and tons of healing anti-coughing and hope you can figure out what the heck is causing the coughing vines! :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Gotcha. I couldn't figure it out. ohmygod_smile I've seen the cactus before but haven't seen the horse. We have the chili pepper en route from Amazon. Spoiled rotten......that's all I gotta say 'bout that! ;-)

Thank you Ruth!! Yes, she's still coughing :sad: From what I hear, the coughing can linger for a while because of the irritation, so hopefully, that's what's going on and it will resolve soon too. We have our specialist appointment on Tuesday which is good.

Shelly, I know the chili pepper you're talking about! I remember debating between chili pepper and cactus at the pet store. The horse is from a collection called barn yarn animals. They have them at the local pet store we go to, but it looks like they're on Amazon too. http://www.amazon.com/Barn-Yarn-Hand-Kn ... B007NRSY92 They're very cute - handmade and stuffed with catnip. We have a pig, horse, bird, and alligator.

Sweet picture!!! I'm glad that there are no new hives, and sending prayers that the coughing subsides soon.

Interestingly, my civvie, Zen, was also sleeping in one of the "winter beds" today, too! Yikes...I don't like what that could possibly mean if they are already prepping for winter!!!

Love the pics. So glad that the hives have not returned and I hope the cough is soon a thing of the past as well. Are you thinking it was a food allergy?

Yay for no hives. I hope you've licked that issue. Hopefully the cough will clear up in time.

I see Billie is wading in the lagoon tonight. Cinco is there, too. Maybe they can paddle in the shallows together. Keep it safe, Billie! :mrgreen:

Elise, I am thinking it was a food allergy to something in the Merrick - maybe the egg? But it's hard to be sure. It could also be dairy since she got parmesan pretty often. I don't know what it is, but I hope I eliminated it and hope her cough improves. She's fine with the food she is eating now, and so is Brooklyn, so we could stick to this diet and just avoid any suspect ingredients.

What adorable pictures! Thanks for sharing. :smile: Billie looks SOOO soft. I'm glad to read that there are no new hives, and hopefully the cough will clear up soon. Fingers crossed that the specialist will be able to clarify the picture for you.
