Every time I say anything good about J.D., he does the opposite, so I'm just not going to say anything.


I guess I can say, that I know not what I am doing as far as food goes. That's how I feel anyway. I'm sure it's not the truth.

I've given up making predictions except for when I try and more often fail than succeed. I hope J.D. continues on this trend.

I know I'm testing a lot today. I just need to know how he does, so I won't worry as much on Tuesday when I go back to work.

I just made up a fresh batch of SEB. I'm going to give him some now.

Okay, in honor of your superstition, I won't mention the eating, either, except to say that J.D. is looking good! Love, love, love seeing him in green!

No advice from me on transitioning from syringe to eating on his own. I would think he will dictate that, but maybe Amy or someone who has been there can help.

As far as transitioning fro syringe to eating in his win, JD will dictate that. I would see how much he eats and only supplement if he is not eating enough to maintain his weight. Nice cycle once he came down.

I don't know if I did the right thing. I am a little uncomfortable.
He only ate a couple bites of LC and I ended up syringing some food.
Tonight is fluids night, too. I may have to delay those until tomorrow.

The problem is I can't just count on him right now to eat when he feels himself go low.
When I syringe all his food into him, he's full and bloated, and doesn't want to eat on his own.

Time for one more walk before it gets too dark outside.

We're not talking about appy, numbers, or anything other than the weather. How's that where you are Dyana and JD, good for a walk?

When I saw the 215, I thought I would be able to give him fluids afterall. I only gave him 25ml at +2.75 because I was afraid he might drop too much. He can have the rest tomorrow.

He is back to not eating tonight, so I guess I can talk about it. I'll add some karo to his syringe food if needed.

I tried giving him some Infant Gas Drops to help with his bloatiness he gets with this syringe food. I am holding off on his 3rd set of syringes for a bit.

So, yesterday, I saw the fall brood of baby squirrels finally. One came all the way down from the tree and hopped up on his mommy's back like he was riding a horsie and was reaching around her mouth as she was trying to eat the peanut I fed her.
This evening, I took some pictures of a beautiful sunset against the blue sky.

I'm off to bed, and alarms.
