Kitties belly up...oh, so cute and inviting.

Computers belly up...not so much. Ding dong the Dell is dead.

Removed battery, unplugged ac cord, held down start button. Not an excess charge problem.
Replaced memory cards. Nothing.
Replaced hard drive. Nothing.
Jiggled everything that would jiggle!! :lol: Nothing.

Wasted hours of what could have been excellent nap time.

Seems increasingly like an appropriately named motherboard issue. I'll see if local tech guy can fix easily/cheaply. If not, hey credit card, whatcha doing this week?

Oh, well. This little, old netbook a friend loaned me sorta works. Awkwardly. Slowly. Frustratingly.

Polly went up to 7 units this morning. I'll hold for 4 cycles, maybe if my patience holds out, and if she's still in high yellows, low pinks or higher, we'll jump her again. We've been back a week and she's been on the rise pretty much since then. Not unexpected. SRT impact takes time.

But her numbers were pretty great on the road trip. Maybe we should take another!

Good luck with the increase. Some kitties keep going up after CSU, some go down, some still need the same amount of insulin for a while. All one big game of roll the dice.

Bummer on the computer. How's the fan? DH does some simple repairs and it's amazing how many times the fan is the culprit. And it's a cheap fix. Maybe something to do with being clogged with pet hair? Hope you get that fixed soon - I'm way to computer dependent.

I'll second Wendy's question. Did you check the fan? I had a dear friend that would call my DH to come fix her computer every few months, and most of the time all he had to do was clean the cat hair out of it!! :lol:

Well, at least Polly's being consistent with her numbers - no big highs or lows. Now you just need to get that surf adjusted down a tad! Come on, Polly - the dosecrease threat is on the table!
