Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty was coasting in the 40s when I tested him at +7 last night so we decided to get back to sleep and not to do any more tests. He ate some of his nighttime food at +7 and all of it was gone this morning. He may want another reducie, but he is only 6 cycles into this one. Right now he's sacked out on the couch, waiting for me to come and schmooze.
The beans are feeling much better this morning. Edward is going to bake bread. We really enjoyed "The Grand Budapest Hotel": so many wonderful and cleaver "references" to art and literature. Very Kafkaesque. The only Stefan Zweig I have read is "The World of Yesterday", which is a memoir. I shall have to read some of his fiction and drama.
Today is the 4th anniversary of Stu's journey to the Bridge. Our little chef is happily at work with his pal Mannie in their Two Chefs' Kitchen at the Bridge. Please join us in remembering our kitty, who we adopted shortly after 911 and who later taught us so much about FD. Here he is as a 6-year-old, appropriating the dining table:
Wishing you all a good day and sending vines to all in need,
Ella & Rusty
