Yesterday, Neko was mostly blue and so was I. :sad: Sending tons of hugs and comfort vines to Flagstaff today.

Quiet sombre day at home today. It's gray out, though still warm enough for kitties to hang in the solarium. I'm moving PS up a bit to accommodate a meeting today, and as usual Neko agrees with earlier meals. No kitty antics, well maybe just a little whacking, but we have had some good purring. I still have to make a second attempt at the acupressure as she got up in the middle of the first one.

I took my car in for servicing today and was going to walk to the pet store while I waited, but they are backed up so got them to drive me home instead. I want to look at a new scratch post or two to replace some well worn ones. Neko seems to prefer the horizontal kind now (aka. carpet on steps or in rooms :roll: ), so I wanted to see if I can find a replacement for that naughty habit. Her arthritis is probably making it difficult to do the vertical scratchers now.

Hi guys,
We're having pretty much of a blue day here, too (in all meanings of the color). But Rusty is rallying the troops so they can remember Zener and all their other GA pals with style and grace.

Marje loves the Brawny Cat Sleeky Lounge XL (this is the budget version of their very expensive scratchers). Rusty got one, too. He doesn't like to lounge on it, but he loves to scratch on it. Here's a link (but I guess you have to call them for their prices: I can't find them on their website:

Back to basic blues today. I got Neko a couple of simple flat scratchers. So far one of them got a few scratches when I put fresh catnip on it. Turns out the car didn't need servicing, just a sensor that was wonky. But I got a free cleaning out of it. :roll:

@Carla - Still TBD on the second scratcher, but location is important too so might take a while to figure that out.

@Ella - BrawyCat only ships to the US. :YMSIGH: I'm sure the kitties will find comfort in numbers tonight at the party.
