Our stickywidget continues to be feeding later in the night cycle. Any longer than about 3.5 to 4 hours and he rises too much. The good thing is the top of those rises seems to be getting lower and he recovers quickly from them. We'll have to continue to work on the autofeeder situation and find one he'll use before Friday because we will be out of town in the evening, well into the night.

Wow, that's a lot of nice, safe green on the SS!

Is he afraid of the noise the feeder makes? I know some are quieter than others, but I think they all make noise. Hard to find out before buying unless you know someone that has one. I hope you figure it out. It would be a shame to mess up this great momentum you have going right now.

Hi Tricia and Cinco!

We actually have a couple of the 2sided flip top Petsafe and the 5slot Petsafe rotating feeder already. I can't get the 5slot to work (been stored for a couple of years and loaned out our second one). I can't figure out why he's not eating the food out of the other ones. He LOVES food and will go through great lengths to get it. I am guessing the movement and noise freak him out so he just avoids it completely while he is in the room alone with it. We come back and the food is still in the feeder

Hopefully he continues to improve on the numbers and the extra feedings won't be needed to much longer. Telling a potential adopter he needs to be fed a tbsp. of food every 3 hrs might be a little bit of an adoption downer!
