10/23 Neko AMPS 146 PMPS 166

Yesterday, a completely forgettable day. Neko's numbers were horrible and I had to deal with a "police incident" that happened in the cove at the time some of our junior rowers and head coach were nearby. Ugh! Why can't people do that sort of thing away from the public. :twisted:

Neko's starting off better today than yesterday. She slid down nicely last night and today is full of purrs. It's raining hard and loud today - too loud to sleep peacefully in the solarium so she's on her little bed by my feet. cat_pet_icon

The good news about yesterday is it's over and done with and you're off to a good start today! Nice AMPS, warm, dry house and contented, sleeping kitty. Sounds good to me!

We had a rainy day here in Wisconsin, too. It was a nice sleepy day.

Clare is finally coming down tonight and I hope the same for Neko.

Well, today is a lot better than yesterday. I'm glad the acupuncture went well, I'm thinking about it for Tess too.

You guys are depressing me w/ your talk of rain, we haven't seen any on over 6 months! Count yourselves lucky!

A nice Swedish day, not terrible. :smile: Nice to get purrs too. Let's see a little lagoon action, Neko. No police!

Both her AMPS and +9 were tested on the right ear (I alternate) and both were 146. The good news is the left ear test came down. :smile: Neko hopped up on the sofa again today. DH was there and she noticed the lap. Nothing like that to motivate her. It was a bit of a struggle to get all the way up to the lap, but she managed with a helpful hand.

Another odd day for the weather. It alternated showers and hard rain in the AM, but the afternoon cleared up a bit. There was even some blue sky and a hole in the clouds for the sun and eclipse to poke through.

@Tricia, Ella. Carla, Elise, Georgette, Ann, Liz - Another sleepy day it was. Good day for snuggling with kitties. That is the one benefit of rain. We got lots the last 2 days. The river near us was rushing with a lot more water today. I'm hoping for a small break tomorrow for a row. DH is off to Victoria tomorrow for a regatta race Saturday and Sunday.
