Hi Everyone,
We were in Potsdam for much of the day. We delivered the books we are giving to the music students and then went to the Agway to get Rusty some Paw Lickin' Chicken and some Whole Life treats. The day was blustery and started out mild, but finished up pretty cold. At present it is clear with a "Halloween" moon.
Rusty held the fort but hardly ate any of the food left out for him. He doesn't like to eat alone! I'm about to go down to sit on the couch with him while he eats and we can both watch the last game of the World Series (Go Giants!). He enjoyed some outdoor time late this afternoon. We saw a chipmunk after not having seen any for a few days. (I had feared that the fox got them.) Chip-Chip had his cheeks stuffed with seeds! They are busy laying in food for the winter. The moles in the lawn have become active. Or maybe a new mole family has moved in. We've seen no evidence of moles all summer, whereas last year the ground felt hollow when you walked on the lawn!
Apparently the students were very enthusiastic about the books and musical scores. This is great that our books will be going to new "homes".
Off now to watch the game and continue this on my iPad,
Everyone have a good evening,
Ella & Rusty
