Good morning! Almost pink start for today. Im considering a dosecrease if we dont see green today, but I have a feeling..I think because we have given her mc to stop the dives, that she has stayed yellow and blue. I dont know whats worse though, the high bounces or the yellow and blue surfs. I am going to try and pick up some mc thats a little lower than 12% and try that next time, but for now will use what I have on hand. These 100+ point drops cant feel good. I will update tonight. Hi Laura. As usual our cats are so similar. I use Trader Joe's turkey and giblets that is 9% for Max for mc. He like it. The only negative is that it does contain fish if that is a negative for Chi Chi. I hope you see some green today.

Updating from work. We have green! Mom fed reg lc at +2.5 and fed the mc 12% at +4, since she has a few hours left til nadir and she didn't want her to drop too low. She is getting another test at +4.5, but I probably wont update til tonight.

Good evening! I just got home and corrected her numbers from today. I had them wrong! She really took a dive early at +2.5 by 185 points. Mom fed reg lc food(should have given the mc) and retested at +3.5 and she had dropped another 40 points. She fed mc 12% and an hour later had dropped 3 more points. She then fed the mc again for her mid day meal at +5 and she finally came up to 120 by +7. I will post her pmps in a few minutes.

Nice reaction to that dosecrease threat ChiChi! :mrgreen: Good luck with the plan to try some higher carb LC or lower MC to try to slow those dives.

Ugh! I went to get her insulin from the fridge tonight and it wasnt there I looked evrywhere!! even went thru the garbage can( uh.. yeah that was fun.. :roll: ) I still have some of the old vial left, and it was getting to be late for her shot, so I gave her the old stuff. It was good the last time I used it a couple weeks ago, so we shall see what happens. Oh..and I found the insulin later..on my night stand in the bedroom where I obviously left it this morning when I went to get a sheet of paper off my printer. It is fairly cool in my house(73) so hopefully it is ok.

Laura, I left my vial of insulin out overnight the first night I brought it home from the pharmacy and it was fine. The weather is cooler, so it should be fine, but glad you found it!
