Last Condo

Sorry I was AWOL yesterday. The day just got away from me. You didn't miss anything interesting around here. Cinco got his fattened dose and didn't do much with it. His appy and behavior were very good - no change. So I was really not expecting that AM+3.5 this morning! :shock: I did retest and got 55, so I know it was for real. He met me at the edge of the family room this morning, but he's been doing that more often lately, so I didn't suspect he was low. He inhaled his food, but he's been doing that lately, too. Now we'll see if he bounces.

Sasha ate an all cat food breakfast yesterday morning, about the same size as her pre-chemo meals! I was so excited. Then she didn't want cat food the rest of the day, so she ate about a jar and a half of baby food. This morning I tried again, and she ate a larger, all cat food breakfast! Of course, I had to use kitty crack to get it all in her, but she ate it! I did not give her an Ondansetron this morning, so we'll see how this goes....Paws crossed!

I'm going to try to visit some condos later today - it's race time right now.

I was wondering where you were yesterday! Since I'm the helicopter worrying type, I always worry when folks go missing!!

Great kitty reports....Looks like Cinco loves the fatness of his new dose. Yay Sasha! It sounds like she's making steady progress with her appy.

Sasha...did you know that that food was "cat" food? It is tasty. Based on my cats' judgment; I've never tried it, personally. Glad you finally figured out it was good enough to eat, too.

You guys will have a real peddle-to-the-metel race next week. Even wilder than today's I expect. (I've renamed my torti "2." She body blocks the other cats, chases Polly into corners and makes her hiss and growl, and even backs down the dog when he gets too close. Just a stinky mean-streak torti.)

Sorry to worry you, Amy. I, too, am always concerned when one of the daily posters is absent without warning! Guess that is indeed part of the helicopter syndrome!

I was worried about a bounce, but Cinco looks like he's settling into his recent evening pattern of yellow and maybe some blue. I have no problem with that. We'll keep the f on his dose through Wednesday morning, unless he decides to dive below 40 between now and then.

Sasha ate a "normal" sized dinner of cat food, although it was in two parts and featured plenty of Forti Flora. I really think her issue is reduced sense of smell, because I have to literally put the plate in front of her face before she'll eat. I hope this is a chemo side effect that goes away eventually? No Ondansetron today, and I don't think she missed it.

Marilyn, :lol: :lol: :lol: on the cat name! You could call her BK! We are really excited about the race now - not that we weren't before. Phoenix is considered a short track, so payback could definitely be on the menu! I remember well the Gordon-Bowyer hijinks a couple of years ago there!

Thanks for stopping by, Marje. I did enjoy my day. The race was boring, I wasn't happy with who won, but my driver did okay and the post race entertainment was pretty good. Could you please put in an order for cooler weather for next weekend? I hear it's been getting pretty toasty in your neck of the woods. We aren't gonna make it down to Tucson, but I know Phoenix can be might hot this time of year. I've been getting spoiled lately with our 60s and 70s!
