J.D. was purring real nice last night snuggled up with me when I feel asleep on the couch. He woke me up at 11:30pm (the +5.25) from the floor acting like he was going to jump back up on the couch. I put back up and I tried to lay him back down on top of me to snuggle and he did not want that. I offered him some FF Medleys and he took a few licks. I tested him, and gave him some Slippery Elm Bark, and then gave him some syringe food. Eventually he laid down and gave me some more purrs.
He did go for a walk this morning and peed and pooed. I was pretty amazed when I weighed him. He was 10lbs 8oz yesterday morning and 10lbs 0.5oz this morning. I guess that poo was big.
Tomorrow is a fasting blood test, and it's not until 9:30am. The vet said not to give him any food after midnight. That is going to be hard.
He also woke me up at 4:00am, because I think he is getting used to our feeding schedule, and tomorrow will be different.
If he dives between AMPS (6:00am) tomorrow and the appointment, then it just won't be a fasting test, I guess.
Anyway, wish us luck on good test results. We need his RBC and HGB and HCT up a little and every thing else to stay in the normal ranges.
