The plan was to give him his fluids at 6:30pm and to stop feeding at midnight, but I got home real late from work last night.
And, I have to go back for a few hours today.. I didn't get home from work until 6:45pm, so J.D. got his fluids at 7:30pm and I stopped feeding him at 12:30am. The vet wanted at least 8 hours fasting and 12 hours since the last fluids for the bloodwork at 9:30am, so I guess we'll still pass that test.

We went for one walk this morning. Ginger is starving. I am taking them out for one more quick walk, then J.D. and I have to leave for our appointment. They are squeezing us in.

Send good bloodwork vines, please. ;-)

Hi Dyana,
I hope the blood tests will go well today and that everything will be in the "normal" range. Poor kitties must be hungry!

We went for one more quick walk before going to the vet, and J.D. peed outside, but I was sitting in the waiting room with two dogs and smelled something and didn't think it was my child, but alas,, J.D. went poo (on his pee pad) in his carrier. He just pooed in the middle of the night. He woke me up, as he does, in the middle of the night, for his "Good Boy! You Pooed!". He poos a lot sometimes.

J.D. got his blood pressure taken and a complete blood work with Spec fPL and an added Magnesium test. Please let the Magnesium be fine.

I brought a can of MC Fancy Feast with me, and opened it and he ate about 1/4 can of it while still on the exam table, after his blood work was finished, and we were waiting for them to down load his xrays from the ER vet, into their computer system to be put into his file.

We had the long walk from my car to my condo when we got home. J.D. finally got his Denamarin, Tumil K, Ondansetron, and Zantac along with his first syringe feeding for the day at +4.25.

Right now he is sleeping (I guess) on his bed in my bedroom.

It is a nice day outside today. I wish some sun shine came into my house, but my condo faces North and I only get a bit of sun shine on the inside at mid-summer time. I will take the kitties outside for another walk, after J.D.'s next feeding.

The vet said she thinks the noises J.D. makes sometimes is from a little bit of Dementia and he doesn't even know he does it.
I know my DBF says I make grunts sometimes and he hates it and I don't even hear myself, so I guess I have Dementia too :-|

Once J.D. has come up, a little later, I am going to have to go to work for a few hours. I kind of discovered a big problem with the computers yesterday and that took me away from my regular work, so I need to get that done, and soon will have to work on fixing the computer problem but I don't have the data to fix it this weekend.

Paws crossed for good blood work results. How was his blood pressure this time?

Hey JD, time to come up a little now and please eat your fuds - no more fasting.

I asked about the blood pressure and she said it was usual for him. I did not get the numbers. I will have them when I pick up his BW results on Monday. In the beginning of the blood pressure test he was laying flat out on the exam table like he was trying to relax and think of something very calm like floating down a peaceful river on a raft like I try to do so my doctor thinks my blood pressure is fine (which it is anyways). Then he all of a sudden got up and turned around and went over to the monitor to look at it, like he wanted to see the numbers on the screen.

Off to do his second feeding.

I agree with Julie. When I'm the equivalent hooman age, I plan to be "eccentric" :lol: :lol:

Paws crossed for the results. How kind of JD to provide a fresh stool specimen. Chief Inspector Crapdash and Dectective Poo are so proud.

Sending good BW vines! I agree with the others.... also plan to be quirky if I managed to hit the human equivalent of J.D.'s age!

I feel like taking a nap. J.D. had his third feeding. I'm going to take the kitties out for another walk, and then go to tbp.
