Chris has figured out how to get up on the kitchen counter where we put the other cats' food 'cause he can't jump up on it ohmygod_smile He climbed up on a chair, then to a cat tree in front of the patio door, then jumped to the garbage can, then to the counter. We've moved the cat tree over so he can't make it from there to the garbage can, but he sat on it and pondered the distance all morning  Now he is passed out in that tree. Must have gotten tired trying to figure it out.
Talked about the dose over with hubby last night, and the cons for trying to do a dose under 0.25 with Chris seem to outweigh the benefits for us. If it doesn't look like Chris can hold an OTJ trial, we will go back to 0.25U with him. At 18.5 pounds, a smaller dose is much less effective and a consistent dose is important with Lantus; I think even at 0.25 we are getting inconsistency. Cecil did ok going from 0.25 to OTJ, we will hope Chris has the same good fortune.
