Good Morning, Everyone,

Dyana is in our thoughts.

Rusty had a good night. It was cold (15 degrees at midnight; 18 this morning) and he snuggled in his spot between his beans with his head on his little green pillow. This morning he is busy supervising the piano tuner. The normal routine is disrupted! But he ate about half of his breakfast so far and we had a short combing.

The dawn was beautiful this morning, but now it has begun to snow. Our area is north and east of the big lake-effect snowstorm that has crippled Buffalo and parts of the North Country (6 feet of snow in Buffalo and more to come for the rest of the week; lots of roads are closed and the area is in a state of emergency). We have nothing planned for today except for our daily walk to the post office. I may be able to get back to my book, a fascinating novel: "A God in Every Stone" by Kamila Shamsie.

Wishing all a good day and continuing to send vines to all in need,

Ella & Rusty

Sounds like a good day to settle down w/ a kitty and good book. I wish you snow, but not so much that you are in a state of emergency too.

Re: 11/19 Rusty AMPS 106

A nice blue start to the cycle, love those normal numbers! So glad Rusty is on the job supervising that piano tuner. I hear they often have mice in their tool boxes!

Hooray for winter, sure wish those in the thick of the lake effect snow could send us some. We are dry and more than ready for some moisture! The picture below is my imagination of where you live and what it looks like in winter.

That's a pretty nice vision of where we live, Anne! But we do live in the village, not in the countryside. Snow, however, we have! (not as much as in this picture, which was taken last winter).

I hope your drought breaks soon.

Now that the piano tuner has gone (no mice were in his bag), Rusty is in his cube under the piano. Today is shaping up like yesterday. I wonder if my meter got stuck? Anyway, this 47 is the 3rd number under 50 on the present dose. I need to do more evaluation before I do another reducie, however.

Off now to the post office. bbl,

Ella & Rusty

Nice numbers for Rusty today. I love how he supervised the piano tuner.

Looks like I'll have to set an alarm tonight, just to be safe. Rusty had a good evening and ate all his food. Surf safe, LagoonMeister!

Thanks for visiting,

Thinking of Melinda and of Dyana tonight.
