Good Morning, Everyone,

We all had a good night. Hopefully today will be the day that Rusty completes the slide from his trip bounce/ fur-shot aftermath. I may indeed take him up a drop tonight, just to jump start the process. We've had breakfast (first sitting), our schmooze, and right now Rusty is snoozing in his little bed next to the radiator.

Our cold weather has left us and we now have above-freezing temperatures with a nasty day of rain and sleet predicted. It's the First Sunday in Advent and we got a beautiful Metropolitan Museum Advent calendar from our friends in the city. Today we will open the first window. The main scene--a pop-up--is the Xmas tree at Rockefeller Center with the skating rink in the foreground and the statue of Atlas. One of my great pleasures when I was a little girl was to go to see the tree and to ice skate on the rink with my parents.

Wishing you all a good day and continuing to send healing vines to all in need. Safe travels to all returning from Thanksgiving visits.

Ella & Rusty

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

Ah Rusty.... yellow for you this morning? I hear there will be a drop more juice for you, just to get you to the lagoon. Work that juice, 'K? Good luck with the new dose Ella, I hope it will get Rusty back to Rusty numbers, though that amps isn't too bad. Surf well today Rusty!

Wow on the weather! We are still cold: 22 this morning, but should make the upper 30's later today. BRRRRRR! We had snow yesterday morning, all of which is still here, complete with some nasty ice patches at the house. We got 3, maybe 4", while the rest of the area just got a trace. I will head out later today to see hoe the rest of the roads are. I hear it's just a mess by the house. figures, always the way it is here when it snows.

Your advent calendar sounds wonderful. Some of them are so so nice! Enjoy it as the holiday season unwinds. I've always enjoyed seeing the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, though I have never been in person. Love all the photos though. Such a fun festive place at Christmas.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Come on Rusty! The Lagoon is nice and warm today! You can do it! -- Tess

Sounds like another good day to get stuff done inside. Our sunshine is gone (I suppose I shouldn't mention that we had Thanksgiving dinner out on the patio and DBiL wore shorts!) and the promised rain looks like it is moving in! We need to check gutters and other things ready outside. I hope we don't jinx it! :?

Almost there Rusty - lagoon water is warmer than outside. How about coming down tonight? ~Neko

Anna's hummingbirds mostly survive on bugs, though those are probably hard to find right now too. The sugar water in the feeder keeps it liquid to about 27/28 F, which it seldom goes below here, and they drink that for fat reserves. They only feed during daylight. No flowers right now, but the winter jasmine should be coming out soon.

Blues are lovely! Watch out Rusty, your bean is getting an itchy finger!

Ooooooo....I hear a threat, Rusty - better start working that juice!

The calendar sounds beautiful! I haven't had an Advent calendar since I was a kid....I miss those days!

Have a great evening, Ella!
