Yesterday, first green free day in 10 days. My fault but she's back. Thanks to all of yesterday's visitors, rowing club party went on later than I expected.

Neko almost let me sleep into the alarm, but the sound of her protest at whacking (probably initiated by Theo) was what woke me up. :lol: I did get a btb and Neko has been out in the solarium sunshine a few hours now. Plenty of biscuits were made on the fleece in her basket.

With that sunshine we have no excuse to not get the Christmas lights up. Forecast is rain for the following days. The neighbourhood is noisy with the sound of a helicopter. We live near the base of a mountain and near but above a large river. A landslide has blocked part of the river. No potential danger to us and no one is hurt but the forecast rains won't be good for those below.

Happy Sunday everyone. Vines to all in need. Still thinking of Chris who is now home to a quieter house.

Wow, Neko, your sure must have enjoyed the party. The sushi was first-rate. Surf safe, now!

Brat! Just when I thought she was surfing the 60's. Neko got a little HC topper on her usual +9 snack.

@Carla, Ella, Liz - Yup, I'm enjoying those daytime greens. Lights are up, chatted with Mariko, a shave reducie - a good afternoon. Dinner tonight will be leftover yiouvetsi (Cypriot lamb casserole with pasta). There is also probably enough curried chick peas for another meal. As usual with the potluck, there was tons of food. We arrived 20 minutes late so the juniors (high school hoovers) had already done first rounds of the food, hence the leftovers.

Wow on that +9 !! :shock: :mrgreen: Lil stinker!! What a beautiful cycle for Miss Neko, and especially nice during the daytime! Kinda scary about the landslide and blocked river- glad you will not be affected!

Apparently Neko missed the lagoon so much she has been splashing around in it all day. Time to surf now, Neko. Keep it safe.

We got our lights up yesterday. Had to take advantage of the lull between storms. Not going to complain 'cuz we need the rain, but it's pretty soggy around here.

Today was the first time ever for an all green cycle - during the day. cat_pet_icon Night green she's done plenty of times. Neko managed to swipe about an inch of green bean that fell from my dinner plate. :roll: Ah well, it's good roughage.

We saw the landslide update on the news. Some house sized boulders have made a mini dam in the river and a small lake behind it. It's beside one of the trails I hike all the time. The big worry is if the "dam" breaks. There are just 2 bridges connecting us with the rest of the world, and they go over that river.

@Michelle, Elise, Ruth, Rhiannon, Tricia - Neko is temporarily on shore, just barely. I think she'll be diving back in later.
