I'm liking her current downward trend with those "PS" BGs. Crazy cat...way to keep me on my toes!

Trix is in a feisty, spunky, happy mood this morning! She's roaming around in search of fun and adventure. Appy is happy, and I got my morning snuggles, too. We almost had a gelcap "incident"...first couple tries were not good. On the fifth try, she had that paw ready to smack my hand away and she huffed...a pre-cursor to hissing. But, I got it down...although she and I were both shocked, because the pill slipped out of my grip as I went for it, and it was an awkward placement. I had to pat her down to make sure it really wasn't just stuck to her fur...that was it, she'd had enough of my nonsense and let that hiss tear :lol: ! I love her fiestiness...what a hoot.

I usually don't mind working on my birthday, but this year I felt differently about that, so I am off today. I plan on spending a good portion just doing some stuff that I want to do (like sitting and beading). Sadly, I do have to do some housework as well, since I really won't have another "real" day off until Christmas Eve (I won't be working Tuesday, but it is also chemo day for my Dad). But then DH, my parents, my brother and his wife are going out for an early dinner at my all-time favorite veggie restaurant...woohoo!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes, everyone...it has been a whirlwind of a day, and it's still not over since we still have fluids and more fuds to do. I hope to do a little visiting once things are settled here!

I had the "Havana" - a quesadilla with adobo black beans, mango, cilantro, and Daiya cheeze in place of the Monterey Jack cheese. DH had the red pepper and pepita Empanadas...it was the first time ever he wasn't thrilled with a meal there :-| ....but 99.9% time Blue Sage is the best dining experience EVER.

Too much food and wine...I am one tired bean!!
