Eddie had a pretty good cycle last night, but had a pretty big drop early on, so he did head up into a half-hearted bounce toward the end of the cycle. Both DH and I missed the Eddie alarm this morning, so his shot was an hour late. DH has an excuse as he's sick, but I just slept through it.
This morning, Eddie had another strange huge spike at +1 - from 162 to 224. I retested half an hour later at +1.5, and he had dropped right back down 70 points in a half an hour down to 156. Not sure what to make of that. He dropped pretty fast down into the greens from there, and surfed the 50's for a while. The advantage to having a sick DH at home is that we got some early cycle tests in today to see what Eddie was up to. The big, fast drops triggered a bounce, and he was at 159 by +8. I thought for sure we'd be seeing our first 250+ number in well over 2 weeks. I began planning for inching his dose back up. But, Eddie surprised me and just stopped there in the mid-100's and stayed flat, or even went back down a bit. Tonight, he looks to be planning an exciting cycle. He dropped at +1, and has continued dropping from there. Maybe the wonky AM cycle was a precursor to Eddie deciding he's about had it with this dose. We shall see! He's feeling happy and spunky today, and has been initiating wrestling matches with the other kitties.
