hi wendy! good for you for getting the random spot check!

i have to say, i've never seen kangaroo meat in the stores in oregon. maybe we don't import it.

I just got the urine culture samples back - all good. Which means we still don't have an explanation as to why she isn't peeing up a storm with her high numbers, but I'm OK with that.

Kangaroo meat is a quite lean and a good one for cats who have some protein allergies. It's not going to be a steady part of Neko's diet due to its price but raw food places will give out samples to people who are switching to raw so we gave it a try. Good to know they both like it if allergies ever develop.

...or that kangaroo meat this morning got her feeling all bouncy

Lol!! Actually, it's a pretty flat cycle. There's less than 10% difference between your AMPS and +4.

Just for the future, with Neko spending time in higher numbers, it's better to increase by a full 0.25u vs. fat/skinny dosing. The latter approach is useful when you're trying to zero in on a good dose. I know you were concerned about 2.5u being too much. I'm just wanting to see Neko out of these high numbers.

If I can make a suggestion, most of us put the skinny or fat notation in the dose column. (Look at Gabby's SS for an example.) It will be easier to track your dose changes if the information is in the column.

I have updated the spreadsheet to show the skinny doses. I wasn't intending to try skinny dosing, but backing off afraid of getting the reaction from Neko that I had at 2.5. Just being hyper cautious and not sure if it was a reaction to too high a dose or what. Now I have more knowledge of what to expect and do.
