Yesterday http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=72061 was another boring day of not much action. We are seeing a little bit more today.
Today so far,
AMPS 401 +2 351 +3 296 +5 177 +8 154
Still no green so dosecrease yet again tomorrow unless something shows up soon.
I should have tested her before her +9.5 snack, she was showing intense hunger so probably still low. But I had gone BTB and woke in a fog to the sounds of hunger (my snack is overdue!!) from the kitchen. Chicken wing tip and 2 tsp lamb was very enthusiastically received.
Neko is currently out on her 3rd yard patrol, in spite of the gray weather. No LB action yet today, but last nights pee was huge. That was 27 hours since the previous. You think she'd aim for something more frequent and smaller, but that has always been her way even before FD. There has been some purring, grooming and Theo whacking so that part is normal.
OT rowing report and the reason for my exhaustion: our little bit of the inlet showed us today that it is still part of the greater ocean. We were supposed to go around Jug Island twice (5.3 km each way) after a 1 mi warmup, but the weather decided otherwise. Part of the way over to Jug Island, the windy weather turned worse and we got white caps! ohmygod_smile Rowing shells are round on the bottom with no inherent stability, it comes motion and blades in the water. We don't normally go out in whitecaps. We had to make it to the lee of Jug to turn around, then fight our way back to the cove with waves washing water in all the way. By the time we got back the water was 4 inches deep in the back. Thank goodness we had the heavy stable boat as others had 6 inches! We got to practice our rowing survival skills and not technique today.
