7/13 Recap:
AMPS 190 +2 320 +7 198
PMPS 340 +3 388
I called the vet today to see if more test results were in. The acro test results are not in yet. The urine culture came back negative (I figured that, probably could have saved the $$), but the IAA came back as 52% (normal is <20). I haven't talked to the vet yet, just got the raw number from the front desk. I'm not sure if the vet will call, but I'm not sure what she would say. I don't think they've ever run that test before. Our plan was to wait for all test results back, then possibly see an IM specialist, but I'm not sure what help that would be now.
All in all a disappointing start to the day, the red start broke a string of blue AMPS, at least it looks like an active cycle again. But Neko is still Neko, CPC status maintained, 2 yard patrols and now resting in the kitchen chair. She did a bit of play around the time she probably hit low 300's (typical behaviour). The LB was used but not for pee. Ketone tests are becoming more difficult as Neko has always preferred to pee outside and can usually hold it until she can get out.
I suspect a dosecrease is in our near future.
