Neko has been quite feisty today. A new young male black cat has shown up in the yard. He has a collar so belongs somewhere. Today the cat came up the stairs to our deck and right to the screen door of the solarium. He and Theo touched noses through the screen. Theo was so happy! He lives with a grumpy cat (Neko) who doesn't want him around and this was the first friendly cat he'd seen for a while. Neko normally likes young new cats, but not today. I let Neko out (Theo stays inside) and she promptly chased after the new cat, down the stairs, and then the howling started downstairs. She was all fluffed up. The party ended when the young cat loped down the driveway.
