Hi everyone! Poor Marje has a stomach bug - let's collect lots of vines to help her feel better soon!

And while we're at it, let's collect vines for *any* bean or kitty feeling under par right now. We all know the magic of LL vines! Let's do it!

Hey everyone. DH here. Marje just called me from the hospital. She just saw this condo this morning and is deeply touched by all your healing wishes and thoughts.

She was feeling much better yesterday, but got really sick last night and this morning. Lots of pain and G/I issues. The doctor sent her to the ER for more blood work, CT scan, etc. in case it is something other than a bug. She wouldn't let me stay with her because she said somebody has to be with Gracie.

She is keeping me updated on the phone. Nothing to report so far, but I'll let you know. Thank you all again for your incredible support and caring.
 
Mike, thanks for the update on Marje. Here I thought she was home resting and was on the mend. It sounds like her doctor is being very thorough, which is great. Sending healing vines and prayers for Marje and thanks for any updates.

Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart! And thank you, Jane, for doing this condo. I was literally crying from your words and well wishes while in the ER and reading from my phone.

I spent all day in the E.R. and they did a full panel of bloodwork and everything came back beautifully normal. They also did an U/S and I think they were really leaning towards it being a gallbladder issue and possibly surgery being
required because they would not let me have anything to eat or drink. That was pretty tough as I am constantly drinking water and I eat small meals all day. I also have found that as long as I was eating, I wasn't
feeling so bad and the reason I was getting so sick during the night was because I wasn't eating.

Anyway.....they believe I have a peptic ulcer so they sent me home with meds and an order to see a GI specialist. I've never had to stay in the ER/hospital for that amount of time or have an IV (ouch!) and I was surprised that I
got no sleep.....so much noise and commotion there that I don't know how anyone ever sleeps.

You all are amazing and wonderful and I have missed each and every one of you. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers and my gratitude list includes LL and all the incredibly wonderful friends we have here.

Just read this thread now. So sorry to hear what you've been through, but am so happy to hear that you are now home and that they (hopefully) figured out your ailment and that it didn't require surgery!

I know nothing about peptic ulcers, and it sure sounds painful, but I'm am very thankful that it wasn't something worse!

Hope you are feeling a LOT better soon, and that the ulcer can be healed totally with diet and some meds.

Hopefully by now, you're back home and resting comfortably....and the meds will be kicking in soon and you'll be feeling better. Healing vines on their way!

Thank you all so much....tons of hugs and many healing vines to all others who are ill....(((Jill))) and (((Charlie))) and Rhiannon's DD. And any others that I don't know about because I've been gone.

JANE!! I love the frangipangi flowers. OMG!! All of them are gorgeous!! That does it...I'm moving to South Africa :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
