9/6 Neko PMPS 385

Yesterday was two yellow starts, one went up a bit (for Neko) and the other went down (a bit).

Today we cover some of the same colours as yesterday and I'm hoping we stick around this blue for a while. Neko is currently resting on my blue lap top bag so I'm hoping the colour is inspiration. I bought some new treats for Neko today, and the freeze dried quail necks are a hit! I knew she liked regular chicken necks so it wasn't much of a surprise. The necks have glucosamine in them, so are good for her too. I stocked up on some more freeze dried chicken hearts too as we are almost out. I think those are Neko's most favourite treat. She growls if anyone (or cat) comes near while she is scarfing them down.

I hadn't seen freeze dried quail necks but I have a store that is likely to have those.

Pretty blues for Neko today I'm jealous of all the gourmet meals she gets. I'll have to make sure I never leave your condo open when I'm not looking or else my three other kitties will start to protest their meals :lol:

Lovely blues for Neko Quail necks? Wow I never heard of that treat. I thought of trying the chicken hearts, but he doesn't eat the FD chicken that I have. I wonder if the hearts taste different.

Great recovery there Neko! There would definitely be a mutiny at our house if we ran out of treats. I haven't seen the quail and will have to look for it. I am heading to bed. Yay! I get to sleep tonight.

I heard a lot of hungry mewing in the kitchen from +6 to +8 today, which is why I tested more often. Come to think of it, the +6 test was the first BG test that got the quail neck and I think she was just lobbying for more! :lol: For anyone interested in the products I bought today http://www.mycanadianpets.ca/gpage1.html is the link to their freeze dried poultry products. They are made in Ontario. They describe the quail necks as "nature's toothbrush". I first started getting the quail hearts and the critters LOVE them. I know someone who fed them to her dogs, cat, and parrot! They are harder to get (not often available), so now it's chicken hearts, sliced smaller. I was thinking about trying the duck tongues, but they only had the large size and I'd want to try a smaller one first. And BTW, these are special treats, no more than once a day items as the hearts are rich.

@Rhiannon - she tried out the blues for a while, then popped back up to pinks. Very classic pink and blue curve today. I bought the treats at a specialty raw food store.

@Pip - every once in a while I like to spoil the kitties! Neko and Rupert played a while, then he jumped up higher than her.

@Carla - I'm hoping for more blue action tonight.

@Tamara - many wet nose kissed back to miss Ella too. Glad she is starting to feel better. The FD (freeze dried) options also include some novel proteins if you can find them.

@Barb - Quail necks are a bit rarer, but I think Ann's Tess also gets chicken hearts. There is more smell (to me) to the hearts so I think the kitties like it better than just chicken breast.

@Leslie - I have a lot of blue furniture for Neko to sleep on. Maybe it's time to recover the sofa and chairs with green?

@Melissa - have a great sleep, it's great when they let us! I always have treats around, just not always these special ones. Dogs love them too!

@Helen - these are special Canadian treats and only given occasionally. Most of the time it's just good old freeze dried chicken or salmon.
