9/8 Neko AMPS 184 +6.5 64 PMPS 451 +3.5 374

Yesterday started with a blue surf, then went up. Today is looking like the same. DH got up to get a tylenol in the middle of the night and I told him he's going to have to do a BG test on Neko if he just happens to be up. Clearly something happened last night, but she was going down so slowly I thought it was OK to sleep through.

Neko was mewing in the kitchen an hour before breakfast, so I had a suspicion she was doing her slide down to blue. This is becoming almost predictable.

Yet another sunny day, although there are some high clouds and weather is expected to change tomorrow. I should get out an paint the deck railings today while the weather is cooperating. It's still great cat weather, not to hot but warm. Happy Caturday everyone!

Hope Neko doesn't go too high today. I hate it when I didn't/can't get a test in and then wonder what happened. Good luck on getting some extra tests when you can.

@Carla - yup, Neko does like to surprise. It seems that +3 is becoming unreliable as an indicator of where Neko is going in a cycle.

I think you nailed it on the head in our condo, Wendy. What is with these girls and big dives between +3 and +6. Luckily, I can say that Neko beat Gracie in the overall drop :lol: :lol: :lol: There are some things you just don't want to be the best at ;-) ;-)

Their cycles are almost identical!! :lol: :lol: Great job by the Canadians in beating the US by 1 in wheelchair rugby. I just talked to Anne and the general consensus was the US would win handily. Oops. Canada was up by 8 after only 3 minutes into the match. BIG oops. It's really hard to make up deficits in wheelchair rugby. The US did come back to tie in the 4th quarter but the Canadians scored with 1 second left. Good luck tomorrow!

Really Neko!!?? Rainbow kitty strikes again. Up over 300 points in 4 hours. Ones of these days the liver will learn, but back to LTS we go. :lol: :lol:

@Ann - the slide down was nice, not so much the rocket up. It is clouding over but still warm here.

@Marje - Neko also beats Gracie hands down on the bouncing. I'm dizzy just thinking about how she must feel. :lol:

@Rhiannon - A great start to the Caturday and a rather explosive ending. And up she goes!

@Liz - at least Zener had a sensible PMPS today. One day maybe Neko will too ... The US was the Paralympic champion so understandable they were the favorites. The two teams have always been great rivals. Just wish there was live coverage of the game tomorrow. I'll have to watch on the internet.

@Ella - great to see the greens, not so much the red. Canada won the wheelchair basketball gold medal today so the team sports are doing well. Maybe Neko is wearing our national colours tonight. :lol:

@Michelle - I got the railing painted once Neko gave me the 104. From then until PMPS, and even now, there is lots of "I'm starved meowing" from her. A sure sign she is either high or low. This morning it was low, tonight it's high. The sky sweated a bit late afternoon, probably not enough to damage the paint. Late tomorrow it's supposed to get more serious. Oh well, the gardens could use it.

@Sienne - a short surf. Maybe I should have held off from the HC at the 64, but it was only 1 tsp and I wanted to get painting.

@Leslie - it was a great start to the day for Neko. Now if only we could forget the second half. But there is always tomorrow!

i always have to come and check on neko when i get on the board - and wowser! 5units! congratulations - she is doing so fantastically! in spite of the 451 - let's just ignore that bit of drama. :lol:
