10/2/12 Zener PMPS 173;+2 284;+4 278

Things were "wild" in our backyard last night and this morning. Mr Skunk paid a visit and when I say Zener dart to the side yard, I dashed out. I startled the skunk, he hissed, Zener hissed and puffed up and I was a little worried. :shock: Mr Skunk decided to turn around and crawl back out through the fence gate. Then, early this morning when Liz let the kitties out, Mr Raccoon was in the backyard. Holy moly!

Another gorgeous autumn day, successful LB poo patrol, and a lovely blue AMPS now turned to green. :mrgreen: Appy is iffy though, so appy stimulant added plus tummy massage. May just be one of those funky tummy days. :sad: The big guy is out taking a turn in the backyard in the sunshine.

Hi Anne, sounds like an exciting night with the critters. I'm glad that Mr. Skunk left and decided not to spray! And mr. Raccoon, too, wants in on the action! :lol: Sending appy vines for Zener and nice to hear about his poo patrol and backyard sun bathing. They do seem to have those blah days. Have a nice day.

Wow on Zener's numbers today! And yikes on Mr Skunk and Mr Raccoon!! Oscar still smells like skunk...I think it's been about a week and a half, and he didn't even get directly sprayed.

What a crazy night in your yard! We have a very pregnant possum that is driving Charlie crazy. I hope it is a much quieter night there. Nice green Zener! Have a great night!

@Tara & Buster - our backyard is definitely not boring! With the seasonal change and cool evenings, lots of critters are on the move! Zener is listening to his LL aunties and giving them a peek at their favorite colors. ;-)

Paws crossed we do not have these visitors again tonight! One of those cheeky skunks was sniffing at Zener's picnic table, but we don't leave food out, must have been crumbs. (the pic is not from our yard)

Yeah on the perfect cycle of blue bookends to green. Here's hoping Zener will visit the lagoon again tonight.

I'd be a little bit worried seeing the backend of a skunk. It's nice he turned around, but I don't like seeing the business end! Very brave of Zener to hiss and protect you against the wildlife.

Yup, that Zener is one brave kitty! Nice day for the Z Man.
We think it was a skunk who ate all the garlic we planted last fall. Do you have garlic in your garden? Skunks are fond of it.
