10/12 Neko PMPS 346 +3 299

Yesterday was an odd morning cycle down to blue and either a dive bomb green muck run or a faulty strip, followed by Neko going the wrong way in the evening. She's heading the wrong way again this morning. I wish I knew why she likes these hump days instead of doing downward curves.

Neko doesn't seem phased by the weather. It's low cloud, not quite fog, but misting. She's done a couple of runs outside without complaint. She was barely damp when she came in and is now back in her basket in the solarium. It's not warmer there, but the basket has become a fav sleeping spot. I've had the basket for years and mostly unused until it was put in the solarium. Real estate agents are right, it's location, location, location! :lol:

Today was rowing in the mist day, accompanied by birds and hardly any other water traffic. The fish are starting to jump. The water was mostly flat until we turned a corner to Cates Park and got exposed to the south easterlies. I turned back shortly thereafter. It's a nice paddle, cruising by multi million dollar waterfront houses. I can dream can't I?

Oh you don't want those big houses, they are too much to keep clean. :lol: :roll:
We all just want more closets!

Much though we need the rain, isn't it depressing to see it back again after such a glorious fall!!! Today is what I call a 'dismal seepage' day. not quite raining but the fog/mist so heavy it's oozing out of the air! Rupert is on the back of the couch in the primo spot, waiting for his dad to get home and light the woodstove!

@Rhiannon - there are some small cute houses by the water! I agree, the big ones are too much. Neko is flat in the middle, does that count?

@Pip - a gray bounce recovery day. Time to find someplace warm and camp it out.

Flat means "action to come". Nice that it's the weekend. Crummy that you have dismal weather (ours isn't great, either). Your row in the mist sounds like it could be very lovely (if you can see anything, that is).

Enjoy the weekend and hopefully your weather will improve. (I lived in Seattle for 2 years in the '60s and it seems to me now that I could count the days of sunshine on the fingers of one hand, but I'm sure that is not really so: maybe two hands!)

This cat is F L A T tonight. I wonder where this will go? My friend who has done pet sitting for me was over this evening. Neko knows her quite well. My friend was commenting how soft Neko's coat feels and how much better she looks since SRT. Her weight is just about right for her size too. It's nice to get an outside opinion from someone who knows cats!

Neko was outside for a while before dinner. When DH let her in, he was told that she was NOT impressed with the weather! She could have come in on her own, but that would have required going out from under cover of the carport and running up stairs and getting WET. The drizzle has intensified. The lawns and gardens are getting their much needed water tonight.

@Ella - Neko continues flat. Most cats do flat yellow, Neko does flat pink. Rowing was nice today. We could see a couple of miles but the mist in the mountains made it seem quieter and more peaceful. I think we've had maybe 3 days with serious rain since mid July, so you'd need a few hands and toes for the sunshine count this year. Rare, but much appreciated.

Come down from that stinky pinky, Neko! That is funny that she likes the basket, now that it's in the solarium. :lol: :lol: And great report from the pet sitter. That's nice to hear. What a great rowing day.
