Yesterday was a stinky pinky day followed by a lovely blue night. Given this morning's zoom up, there might have been a touch of green in there last night, or she is just nervous as low blues.

I do so like seeing Neko in blue. She was quite happy and content this morning, until Ms. Liver started to kick in. She did manage to get a couple of yard patrols in, before the rains started again and she started taking the elevator up. She seems more interested in going outside when her numbers are lower.

Happy Halloween everyone. Neko has been helping me work on her costume this morning. This year she wants to go as Zorro. It's tricky getting the sword the right size.

"Stinky pinky" - I love that. Am getting google drive errors right now trying to look at any SS.. think its my mac.

Maybe ditch the sword for some small knives and have her go as Guy Fawkes or the dude from Vendetta ? lol.

And back to the blues. Yeah! Must better colour for the parties tonight. Neko desperately wanted to help me make mango jellies this afternoon. All that sugar would not be good for her. :lol: Raining tonight, I don't expect many trick or treaters if this keeps up. Just as well, it's scary for the kittens.

@Wendy - Neko is already wearing her mask and cape so just needed a few accessories to complete the outfit. Her nails sometimes work as small knives! :lol:

Sure like that the high number was quickly left in the dust.
Now if Neko could just leave all of them .... in the dust....

Lovely blues today and was that +3.5 a weird strip? Just doesn't fit in does it?

I love her costume....darling!!!! I had to laugh when you asked how I was going to do Tobey's eyes. Have you ever seen a picture of Tobey? It would be self explanatory :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: He has the biggest eyes I've ever seen on a cat.

Wasn't expecting that. She must have had another nice blue surf the rest of the day. I had to get her out from under the bed for testing. Way too many scary firecrackers going off. I'm back from a dinner party near by and heading out again soon for the next course, so I left the autofeeder beside the bed so she doesn't have to venture into the kitchen.

Sad news today, my friend's dog with lymphoma, who is also my favourite dog, is nearing the end. Chemo got him an extra 9 good months, which in the life of a dog is quite a bit, but it's never enough, especially with a 7 year old.

Hey kitties, if tonight you see my former roommate Buster (GA) - aka B Cat, could you tell him to tell drooler B Dog (aka Benjii GA) that his buddy Indy is crossing over the bridge on Friday. ~Neko


@Carla - I think she must have surfed the blues the rest of the day!

@Rhiannon - I'd love it if Neko got more comfortable in these kinds of numbers, but the liver is still very twitchy! At least she's put on some better colours for Shadows party tonight! I did trim Neko's nails a couple of days ago, so short daggers at best. :lol:

@Marje - Neko very much has a pattern of a high +3 after some lower numbers the cycle before. With her late onset and later nadir (sometimes), it's almost like she is on Lev. October 9 and 19th day time are good examples, along with September 8th. That's why I don't do a +2 test anymore, it doesn't tell me anything. As for Tobe's costume, wasn't me who asked about the eyes. I laughed but have seen his pic before. Very cute outfits for your gang too!

@Libby - good to see you again. Hoping for more blue again tonight! But I'm not sure with all the noise going on.

Dont be too sure about our kitty friend Wendy, they may surprise you anytime. I used to skip the +2 & even +3 since Rosy always have a late onset but these recent week, she changed her pattern. hey, they can change too, like us, right! :lol: :lol:
I was almost certain that Rosy will need those expansive testing forever that last mth I went to the shop & bought a yrs' supply of test strips, then she throw me all these green. Who knows, maybe she's naughty? :lol:
I hope Neko will give you a turnaround & surprise you too!

Hi Wendy - sorry for the late post... another DGS day where condos ended up falling by the wayside. I hope your Halloween was fun, and your day a good one.

Very nice numbers for Neko today. LOVE the costume idea!!

And we have the blue again, although that PMPS was almost blue anyway. The noise around here as quietened down, and both kitties were at the bottom of the stairs to greet us when we got home. It was an Octoberfest/Halloween party, so lots of good German food. Not as good as the kitties enjoyed, but still good.

@Helen - The dogs lymphoma causes swelling of the lymph nodes so it's getting hard for him to breath. For humans, they feel yucky, like they have the flu. So it's not painful, but tiring, and the bad times are now more than the good times. I saw him yesterday and he was wagging his tail and ran down the stairs to greet me, but needed help getting back up. I too would love to see Neko in the kind of numbers that Rosy is showing, but she is still bouncing a lot. If that changes, then I would have to test more at the beginning of the cycle. For now, it gives me the chance to go away for a nice dinner. :-D

@Michelle - Halloween was great, just wish it was quieter for the kitties. The good numbers are continuing and she is joining Mannie in the BMG. I've always thought of Neko's markings as being a black cape and a mask on top of a white body, so costumes tend to start with those themes.
