Yesterday was a blue day bookended by pink and then Neko decided to reach for the full moon. It was after all, bounce recovery day, and often the second cycle of the bounce is worse.
12/29 Recap:
AMPS 354 +4.5 268 +8 171
PMPS 346 +4 440
After fighting with the bubbles in the syringe again this morning, I resolve to see if I can find something other than BD syringes locally. Tracy (Leo) and Karre (Maverick) have mentioned finding monojects so I'll have to see if I can find a place that doesn't support the BD monopoly in Canada. Some boxes of BD are good, like the previous one, but the majority, like the current, are just horrible. It's so hard to be consistent dosing when you just can't get rid of a bubble.
On the sunny side, it is SUNNY outside. Yeah! I feel like I have to squint to look outside. Both cats have spent time sunning in the solarium, Neko has had a couple of yard patrols to celebrate. Neko hasn't snacked any litter since last night when I closed the door to the room with the LB and fresh litter in it. There are two other LB's she has access to. I'm going to see if I can find some clumping pine litter to sprinkle on top and mask the smell. When Neko was first diagnosed with FD, she was constantly litter snacking, but it seemed to ease off for half a year. It's just started up in the last month again.
