Good Sunday Morning, Everyone,
We are sending many prayers, healing vines and good thoughts today to our kitties who are in need: Mannie, Do Lou, Salem, Zener, Cleo, and all other kitties not feeling well--please get better soon!
Rusty is a trifle high this morning. It could be the new Wellness Core Turkey and Duck, which he likes a lot, or it could be that he finished his nighttime food just before AMPS. In any event, he clearly likes Core Turkey and Duck. I am serving it along with his usual foods so that he doesn't get it exclusively. So, since he free-feeds, his bowl contains some Wellness Turkey (or Chicken), some FF T&G, and some Core Turkey and Duck. This morning we had a good test and shot and a good combing and schmooze. He is now chillaxin' in his little bed by the radiator. He had a lot of fun at bedtime last night, batting his bell balls around and pouncing on the catnip toys his Auntie Linda brought him.
While the West Coast is in the deep freeze, we are having spring-like weather again today. It was 32 degrees already at 6 A.M. and now (almost 10 A.M.) is is 42 degrees. We expect temps. to be almost 60 later today. The snow is rotten and useless. There is a lot of open water on the flowed lake in town and people are wondering if it will be possible to cut enough ice to build the ice palace for Winter Carnival, which begins the first week of February.
Wishing you all a good day. We'll be going for a walk around Moody Pond this afternoon, wearing shoes, not boots! Edward is baking bread this morning.
