1/14 Neko PMPS 152 +3.5 427

Yesterday was another pair of cycles with green for a total of three in a row, another big improvement for Neko. Today was the bounce - to YELLOW!!!! And not any of those other colours we won't mention. That is a major new development. cat_pet_icon Finally, some of the LTS lessons are starting to sink in.

Sorry for the late post, but the last couple of nights Neko has had me get up at +7 and I'm feeling a bit tired today. Morning btb is getting to be a habit. It's drizzling snow here today. The original forecast was no precipitation but there is just a light dusting. Enough to cover all the greenery, but it's not sticking to the roads. Neko only made a short hike on the deck, maybe she'll go out later.

It's been a while, but I managed to get a ketone test today. Neko has needed to pee less lately and sometimes goes outdoors so hard to catch a sample. Her other trick is going overnight before I get up. But this morning just before the alarm went off, I heard the sound of liquid in the bathtub. :roll: I have an LB in the bathtub because that was where Neko was going, but she hasn't stepped out the LB for her business for ages. The benefit is that a little was left in the tub and I managed to get a test. And it's easy to wash up. :lol:

Neko is generally feeling better at the numbers she's had the last few days. She is a bit more active, a little more play with the nanners, and not always sleeping in close proximity to the kitchen. It must feel so much better not doing the BG rainbow every day.

I've been thinking today of all the kitties who aren't feeling well. There are so many right getting feeding assistance. We are sending truckloads of appy vines to all those who need it. We had a visit from Julie and Punkin last night. Also thinking of them today.

Hi guys woo hoo on some good cycles and an almost green today. Very encouraging that Neko's bounce was a low yellow too!!! Lots to celebrate here! I here ya on the btb in the morning, I have to do it every day! Hope you have a nice evening and paws crossed for a green cycle tonight!

I hope Neko keeps sliding down and gives you more green today. Wow on the bathtub. At least you were able to get the ketone test in. It's funny the things we are grateful for.

Oh girl i hear ya on the BTB, i do it everyday! It is a very bad habit isn't it?

Very nice numbers these last few days for Neko, has she finally given up her rainbow crown? Maybe a nice visit to the lagoon this afternoon too?

When does Neko go to the vetty for her 6 month blood work?

And back to blue PS. Unfortunately there was a tiny bit of moisture when I stroked her after the shot. :sad: Not sure if it all got in or was on the outside of the syringe. We'll know soon enough. Neko had a good patrol outside this afternoon. There were little paw prints up and down the stairs and she was gone for a little while. We have enough trees around that she probably got most of the perimeter patrol done without getting her feet any wetter. The total snow is only about 1/4 inch anyway.

@Michelle - It was looking good today. If I'd tested 1/2 hour later I might have seen green but it wouldn't be low so didn't bother. I have a +2.5 meeting tomorrow morning downtown, so no btb tomorrow. I may need lots of in the AM. :lol:

@Carla - Paws crossed here for more sliding tonight too. I was really surprised to hear the bathtub, it's been many months since that. But yet, I was glad to hear it.

@Rhiannon - Yup, just not going to mention those other colours. (antijinx) Got a tiny nap this AM before the cats started circling and annoying me for dinner.

@Tracy - I do have to try to get out of BTB, rowing starts in a month and a half at 5:30 AM and I have to move my clock back soon. I'm not sure if Neko has given up her rainbow crown yet, time will tell. Six months for us will be end of first week of February. She is due for her wellness exam now but I'll combine them to limit vet visits. And shots are due, have to figure out how many/if any of those we are going for.

Good job, Neko! Such lovely cycles. I wish I could do a btb but I have to eat when I get up and then I am totally awake.

Ugh, there goes that colour I didn't want to mention. That's too fast for just a partial fur shot so I think Mr. Liver woke up again.

@Liz - I'm getting pretty quick at getting up, testing, feeding, shooting, loading the autofeeder and crashing back in to bed in the AM. However, tonight I get to sleep early.
