Good afternoon and TGIF! Sending many healing vines to Mannie, Moonie, Noni, Bubba, Cleo, Do Lou, Fitzel, Ann's DM and DS and our deepest sympathy to Anne in the loss of her DSIL.
Yesterday was a bounce day with some good measure of vetty stress thrown in. Today....I think some NDW but we are thrilled she is coming down slowly so far instead of diving down. Her most active (read "dive") times are from PS to +4 so now I can leave her be a while. We got the test results back from the bloodwork yesterday and her ALT is back up to 212 :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH: However, the good news is that everything else is normal including her triglycerides. So evidently, her yummy coconut oil is what drove her triglycerides up from a lovely, normal number to over 700. We stopped the oil and she is back into her lovely, normal numbers now. Dr. B wants us to stop the denamarin and the ursodiol for now because she is wondering just what they are doing for her since the ALT continues to rise. Then we will recheck bw in another month. If other numbers are up, we'll know they were helping and we'll restart. If the ALT alone is up, then she wants to try some metronidazole. She's also going to call the IM specialist to discuss. Well...at least we went in the right direction on the triglycerides and everything else is stable. Now to just figure out what is causing the ALT to be elevated.
Insofar as Baby Girl goes, she's doing great. She's happy, purry, playful, and eating well. We, of course, watch her like a hawk for any changes to any of those things. It's a lovely, warm morning (finally) and she's been on her catio all morning. Of course, she had to give Lupita a little hiss as she passed by. Go figure....
Hope you all have a great day. I've many chores to do....mostly get the plants back outside now that it is warm again and see what froze that was in the yard and couldn't be moved.
