Yesterday was another one of those one curve days. Pink to blue, then blue to pink. :roll: Based on her bounce, I think she must have done something lower on a later nadir I missed.

Sorry for the late start today. When I woke after morning BTB there was no power in the house. Today was pole replacement day, but no one thought to tell us in advance. :twisted: Needless to say, I'll be giving them a call with some "constructive criticism" tomorrow. The guys are still working outside, but we just got power, phone and cable back, so we now have heat and internet too. We had to go out for breakfast, after getting them to move their trucks so we could get the cars out. No way to make ! Grump! Fridge has been without power all day, I'm hoping the insulin is still OK, just bought a set of 5 cartridges last week.

Neko was very brave through it all. She went out on the deck early before the crew arrived but spend a good part of the day in the solarium where the outside noise was pretty loud. However, the sun on the solarium made it warmer than the rest of the house with no furnace. Smart kitty! Thank goodness we replaced our single pane windows a couple of months ago. The temperature is at the freezing point outside.

It sounds like you had quite the morning. You might think the power company would let you know they were going to do the work.

Well hello there Miss Rainbow Kitty!!!! Sorry about the pole stuff today that totally sucks, I would def have some things to say about that!!! Hope your lantus is ok, I am sure it is. Glad you are back up with power and eveything and glad Neko survived the day! Take care and have a great night!

@Rhiannon - Neko is starting out a little bluer, now we'll see where this goes. No website tonight after no internet, I might go into withdrawal. :lol:

@Sienne - I will be having words with the power company. What the crew here didn't know is that a good friend of mine is the head of the division and she's trying to get some processes changed in pole replacement. I can see why. :roll: I believe they are supposed to let people know for scheduled outages. Neko is doing the slow rainbow, but still one colour to go.

@Michelle - We were glad to get the pole replaced. The flickers have been loving it - lots of bugs inside. :shock: We've known it's in the works as they have been doing some things, just didn't know when. We were careful to open the fridge only once or twice, so I'm hoping the Lantus is OK. My little rainbow princess survived the day just fine.

@Marje - Neko must feel dizzy with all this up and down, but at least she is down in nicer numbers. And :lol: :lol: on last night's post. I'm typing with Theo clinging to my arms so I know what you mean. He likes to press submit too.
