HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

The wintry mix turned out to be a sleet storm and has been falling the better part of the last 6 hours. I know some of y'all see this often, but for the Piedmont, it's a BIG deal! All of the schools in this area closed by lunchtime, which still left the bus drivers to drive in the mess that started falling around 11am.

Hershey and Oreo have been making good use of the blankets today. When Jessica wraps up in a blanket, Oreo likes to crawl inside the blanket behind her. :lol: Days like today sure do make you thankful for heat...and blankets...and soup! Whenever I open the front door to take more sleet pictures, Hershey gives me this look like - how ridiculous can you get?!

Just when I start to think I can see a pattern in Hershey's numbers, he changes it up on me...nadir time changes...increases throughout the cycle...whatever. Guess he wants to keep a little mystery in our relationship...

Sleet?!? Yikes. That word frightens this Calif.girl!

Mysteries keep us on our toes! Our kitties don't want to become that 'p' word ('predictable'). Gasp.

And blankie time is the best time in our house! (Well, that's according to me. If you ask our pets, they'd say 'feeding time.')

Mine would probably prefer to be fed while wrapped in a blanket! :lol:

Nice blue surfing there today Hershey! I had a nap in a quilt with a cat this afternoon - a great way to snuggle and warm up for both.

Hey, Helen - Yes, it would be nice if Hershey would make his daytime cycle the lower numbers, but whyyy would he want to do that when he knows I soooo enjoy jammy parties?! :lol:

Hey, Wendy - Aren't quilts the best?! I love sleeping under the weight of a quilt. My grandma made four before her eyesight went, one for each grandchild. Mine is the only one left. I have it packed away at my mom's. She keeps telling me it was made for me to USE, but it seems so sad that it's the only one left. I often wish I knew how to quilt, even if it's just with a machine and not by hand like my grandma did.

Hey, Marje - Have to agree that blues are fantastic. And, yes, ma'am, it's cold - definitely turning on the electric blanket tonight!!

Tested at PM +7.5 and he was still blue. I was tempted to test again at +8, but told Doug I really didn't want to be disappointed if Hershey wasn't green. He kind of encouraged me, so I tested at +8.25 and got (88). So, yay! for green 2/4 cycles since the reduction. The green run isn't as long tonight, but it's still a green
