Hello LL

Checkers is feeling well and eating well this morning. He was more active than normal, sniffing the air with his cute little black nose, and walking around to investigate.
I think Tux had Check's leftover breffis in his mouth, having just coming out of kitchen. :-D Everybody is napping now.
I'm ready to join them. I was awake a long time with leg cramp, last night.....gees, those are painful. :sad:

It must have been a night for leg cramps. Me too...

Hi Barb. Checkers slid very nicely into the blue zone. I hope he surfs there for a while. PurrFace and Checkers kind of look a like. Hope you were able to get some rest.

Pretty nice start today, Checks. Keep on coming down--graudually. Glad you're feeling better.

Omigoodness! I was on the recliner, with Clancy on my chest, closed my eyes, and 2 hours later, woke to Checkers staring and meowing at me. There is only one reason he does that ..
. Flew out of the chair, to the testing supplies!. I didn't know I could move so fast :lol:

Yup!! He gave me a green..

I don't know if it's the mouth pain gone, the UTI clearing up, or the xtra drop I started giving yesterday, but
I don't care......we gots green :mrgreen:

WOOHOO! CHEKS DANCE! What a bootiful string of numbers you have today!!!

Big Hug Barb! Glad you got a nap - agree with your OUCH on leg cramps...if I don't drink enough water during the day, I get them at night.

Sheesh, It was bad enough that I lured Checks out of that darn cube, by throwing kibbles near him, so I could test, I thought as long as I had him out I better hurry and get the Clav in him . forgetting to test, before I shot.

This has been a crazy dinner hour. I put down Clancy's Friskies, and turned my back give Tux his on the desk, turned around to find Checkers eating Clancy's.
He refuses to touch Friskies, when I serve it to him. Had to look up carbs.. 8% isn't too bad


I ended up testing after he ate Clancy's supper, some of his own supper and 2 kibbles, and nibbles of deli ham after the Clav.
Not sure there was enough time for his glucose to change, so pmps is close :roll:

What the day for you Barb! Nice green from Checkers and so good of him to let you know. :mrgreen: I liked the image of you snoozing with Clancy keeping you warm. He really ought to try being a leg warmer at night. I hope you get some better rest tonight.

Wow, what a day for Checks!!! I've had to test Trix once or twice right after she ate, because she was just way to wriggly before hand. I'm sure if it's close enough after fuds, BGs can't be affected too terribly much.

I hope the leg cramps stay away tonight - I know, they are so painful! Have a great one, Barb!
 
Quite a day!! Nice to see Checks in the lagoon for a while!

I think it takes about 20 minutes for food to begin to show up when you test, so no worries there.

To answer your question in Rusty's condo: Yes, I have ordered a different brand of syringes from ADW without needing a new script. And every time I re-order I just write in the "comments" box that the prescription is "on file". (My original prescription was for Monojects and I changed to Terumos.) If you haven't ordered from ADW before and you place an order for syringes, they will probably call you and ask you to have the vet confirm by phone that you can order the syringes. When we did this they asked if there was any limit to the number of syringes I could order and the vet's office told them no limit, that "she can have as many as she wants." (I was there and heard the conversation.)
