Good Morning, Everyone,
The big news is that last night Rusty ran upstairs at bedtime. This is the first time he has done this in many months (it used to be that he would run up every night, but for about 6 months now he has been walking very deliberately up the stairs). What a joy to see him charge up in his old way. Maybe it was just a one-time thing, but maybe it is another sign that the Allerplex is helping him breathe better.
This morning he charged downstairs (as usual) and had a good test, shot (he got a dosecrease: up a drop to a skinny 1.5 units [2.11 mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe]), breakfast, a schmooze, and a nap in his little bed by the radiator. At +2.5 he enjoyed his "lung treat" (Allerplex, turkey baby food and a little water). He licked the dish clean. Then we had a combing. Today is Day 4 of Allerplex.
Our birthdays party last night was lots of fun: funny cards, paper hats, noisemakers, tiny yo-yos, great foods. We sat around and relaxed and really enjoyed ourselves.
Getting a late start today because I fell asleep after schmoozing with Rusty. Wishing you all a fine day. It's supposed to be a heat wave here today (into the 50s; the snow is a soggy mess of slush, but in the woods it is still ok).
