Good Morning, Everyone,
A dark, rainy morning in the mountains, but it is quite mild (in the 40s!). Rusty is asleep in his little bed by the radiator. He slept between his beans last night, as he does every night. He ate all his nighttime food. This morning he was full of energy and went charging down the stairs for his test, breakfast, and shot. Then he wanted his "lung treat", so once again he had his treat before his schmooze. I think he likes it better that way. He sure does like Allerplex. His breathing has gotten much better, so I think the Allerplex is doing what it is supposed to.
I just got back from taking Edward to his yoga class. Today I'm going to get my hair cut (it is on the verge of getting out of control!). Tomorrow I'm going on a waterfalls hike along the Ausable River with friends, so have to get my hiking stuff together. Showers are predicted, so I'll be sure to take my raingear. Now that snowshoeing is over, Edward won't be able to go out hiking on most of the trails around here because he can't see the rocks and roots. But we do our walks in the village every day and soon we'll be paddling. (can't wait for paddling).
Wishing everyone a good day and sending good thoughts and healing vines to all who are in need of some,
Ella & Rusty
Guess what? The CHAIR still stands on ice, even though the lake is mostly free of ice!
