Var-ee, I am probably the wrong person to ask about going up after the shot, because Neko does that a lot. Her onset is a little later than normal. I used to get +2 tests all the time, but I found she was typically higher than PS and a +2.5 or +3 was a better indicator of how the cycle was going to go. if Rory is eating a good sized meal after his shot, that will also raise the numbers.

Rory is a food addict so most likely that is why then.. I cant keep him full.. I think it is because he was a big dry food eater and went overnight without it.. so carb addiction withdrawls.. I try to keep a little wet food out at all times but it is gone fast and he searches for more.. I am hoping this sugar cat I have adjusts to wet.. he loved his dry food so much :cry:

The shot does not take effect immediately; many cats will not have a reaction to the shot for around 3hrs, so it depends what is happening when you give the shot.
Is the last shot just wearing off, or is there overlap?
When you combine the delay in the shot starting to work with a meal given at shot time, you may well expect a bit of a rise, depending on how carb sensitive your cat may be.
You are always going to see meandering numbers, especially where you are now, still working towards your cat's good dose. As you get closer, you will see a definite pattern, a curve, in the cycles.

What do you think about increasing the dose to 2.0u? It would be good to see more blue on his spreadsheet.
