Just made a vet appointment for Pepper. Very worried. He was outside with me walking around the garden while I weeded. I suddenly looked over and he was lying on his side, panting with his tongue out, then he cried at me as I approached him. This was a couple of days ago. I thought he was dying! I was ready to rush him to the emergency vet but he suddenly sat up and looked better. Then today I read about a cat who collapsed and had a seizure, woke up panting with his tongue out and crying. The owner took him to the vet and he turned out to have heart failure. We'll be going in on Monday. I'll also finally get the tests for acromegaly and insulin resistance done. Please send good vetty vines for Pepper!

So sorry Pepper gave you a scare. Hope the vet visit turns out good. Now don't go up any farther Pepper.

Nice - 81 @ +6. Apparently Pepper's stress level is not as high as mine.

A great day for Pepper! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Piling on the good vetty vines for Monday. That episode sounds scary, no wonder you are feeling stress. :YMHUG:

It's good to get the tests done. Acro kitties can have enlarged hearts so need to have that monitored. Neko has a heart murmur but her echocardiogram results said her heart was just barely larger than normal. Now we go for periodic heart murmur checks.
