Looks like Zener had a nice green surf last night. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Appy is a little iffy this morning so he got some more cypro. Breffis was consumed on his footstool, on his picnic table, in the bed with snoozing Anne, on the office bed and a little more on the picnic table. My appy is good after the root canal, not that the root canal slowed me down any. Anne knows that I'm really sick if I don't want to eat. :lol: :lol: Tillie also has a good appy this morning. Maybe we are sucking up the good appy vines? Ok, Zener, we are leaving them alone now. They are all for you.

Sending healing energy to Simon, and appy vines for him too. Eat yer fuds! Shasta could use a few appy vines. Healing energy to Lucky. Healing energy to Jamie, that pneumonia is nasty stuff. Paws crossed for OTJ trials for Gobbles and Zoey. Happy Wednesday, LL!

Hi Liz. A great beginning to Zener's day. He must really have fun in the morning seeing how many places he can get you to give him his breakfast :lol:.

Z's numbers are really great :mrgreen: , but appy is very crappy even with the appy stimulant. :YMSIGH:

Hi and what a nice cycle today for Zener! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Sorry to hear his appy is off though! Sending Zener appy vines. I love how many breffifs stops he made this morning. :-D Come on Zener, keep eating your Wheaties.
Glad your appy is better after the root canal, Liz. Hope all the pain is gone by now, too.

WooHOO! We have a green Zener! WOOT WOOT !! Really nice numbers. SO Zener - eat though OK? Crappy appys just aren't much funs, ya know? I do however love the various restaurants that you were able to dine in. :lol:

Looks like Zener is quite a good surfer boy! I sure hope his appy gets better; it is real frustrating to us momma beans when the kids are eating little or don't wanna eat!

Nice greens Z! Crappy appy is crappy though. I hope it gets better soon. Healing vines for Liz and for poor Z's tummy.

Appy continues to be crappy. We gave him a bigger piece of cypro. The cleaning lady was here late today which hasn't helped either. nailbite_smile

I get a crown on my tooth on Friday afternoon. Ugh.

Thanks everyone, we sure appreciate all the appy vines. Something just seems to be off. Just a week or so ago, we were at the vet for his anal gland expression and he was eating better than he had since diagnosis. Now, his appy has been steadily decreasing the last couple of days, and today was the first time the appy stimulant hasn't worked. We tried a slightly bigger dose of appy stimulant tonight, (he is routinely on ondansetron and cerenia for nausea) and only shot 0.5u (1/2 his dose) because we could only get him to eat 1/2 of what he does at PMPS. We are feeling discouraged, as everyone does from time to time. The last few days, he seems more restless and uncomfortable than usual. I am leaving Sunday for two weeks in Denmark and hate to leave MamaLizBean as the single bean, if our Zener is not doing well. We sure would appreciate some vines.

Healing vines to Zener~ I hope he is back to his "normal" self before you leave Anne. It is so worrying when they start acting "off." Eat up Zener! It's good stuff!

Oh dear...what is going on with our boys?? You know I can relate to what you are going thru. The not eating is the most stressful thing ever. Does Zener get fluids? I can't remember. Do you think that might help? I really hope Zener gets his appy back tomorrow. Our boys need major appy vines sent to them. Thanks so much for thinking of me and Simon when you boyh have so much going on as well.

Thank you for all of the appy vines! We sure appreciate everyone's support. He got 1/8 of a tablet (0.5 mg) of cyproheptadine tonight and it's starting to kick in. Phew! We are considering whether he might have pancreatitis. Thank you, Marje, for the primer! :-D He seems uncomfortable at times and then he'll stretch real big and seems fine. We will continue to watch him closely.

Hi Anne & Liz,
Thinking of you guys tonight and hoping that Zener will be feeling and eating much better tomorrow. Has there been a major change in your weather? Sometimes that can really affect a kitty's appetite. Rusty feels the heat and humidity today after all that cold weather we just had. Spring is a tough time of year.

As the message on my favorite beer glass says: "Don't worry. Everything will be OK-- SOON" (Radio Bob, North Country Public Radio).
