Yesterday was same old, same old. Theo did NOT take up Liz's suggestion of helping out with the testing in the wee hours. :lol: :lol: Or if he did, he didn't write in in the log book.

Another nice blue start today. Then I had to go ruin it by running the pressure washer on the deck outside the solarium. I've stopped for the day. After I was done I found Neko under the bed with her tail sticking out and managed to convince her to come out. I did get a love bite to let me know what she thought of the noise. The cats have now retired to the solarium which is quite hot today. Summer weather here today!

Anybody here using cat hair to knit with? June is shedding weather and I swear I've taken enough off to knit a shawl.

Well, drat on that stinky pinky. One of these days, she will do something different and you will fall off your chair. I know of someone who made a sweater out of dog hair but it smelled bad, especially when wet. :lol: :lol: :lol: I'm sorry Theo didn't follow my suggestion.

LOL, I could make a rug with all the fur,I try to keep things washable for those puking section on the furniture,have really gone all out with my decorating with blankets and towels. your numbers were looking pretty good there until.mol

Poor Neko and the pressure washer. Hopefully she'll come back down soon. Last month was horrible here for cat shedding. It was driving me crazy. Even when I brushed, there was still hair everywhere.

Wow, Neko hasn't done that kind of turnaround for a while. All I aske the meter for was "not pink". :lol: May make for an interesting evening.

@Liz - Well Neko did surprise me this afternoon. At least the pink was short lived. I once went to a textiles show that had a section of garments woven and knitted from cat and dog hair. But they were dry. :lol:

@Linda - I know what you mean about decorating with towels and fleeces everywhere, same here. Neko slid back down, so looking good again.

@Carla - Neko turned it around pretty quickly for her. I just got a ton of hair of Neko combing her, but I think I loosened a lot because every time I pet her there's a whole bunch more. :roll:

My dd's boyfriend's mother wanted me to keep Shadow's hair so she could make me something.... I'm not sure what. It sounded weird to me
but then I thought it would be okay to have a little miniature sweater knitted ( Christmas ornament size) so I might do it eventually.
She spins.


Neko is doing the blue thing very early today.
Should be an interesting cycle.....

@Rhiannon - Yes, that Theo is lazy. You think he could do something for all the extra treats he gets when Neko gets tested. :lol: Long cat hair is best for spinning so Shadow's got the right stuff.

@Marje - I'm actually looking to donate cat hair, not looking for any more. :lol:

My short hair Taz has more fur when brushed then my long hair cats,but Taz has dandruff really bad for a Tuxie it really shows.
I heard that people make things out of the cat fur.
