Didn't post yesterday - busy day! Yesterday was the third and last day of SRT! We got the grand tour in the afternoon before taking Pepper home. Dr. Custis, the radiation oncologist, said Pepper's tumor was small, a little less than 1 cc. Dr. Leah Ferguson, Pepper's internal medicine vet, said he was a real trouper! Everyone cared so much about Pepper - Drea, the student assisting Dr.Ferguson, told me the student in radiation had to give Pepper a hug before he left.

Pepper has today to relax and then we head home tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your support and help. I can't believe we really did this!

Nice work guys! I love how animal care professionals really seem to enjoy working with our fur kids (most of them, anyway). It's a different way to work, for sure. Have a safe trip home tomorrow!

Yes, I hope you both have a relaxing day, today, and a good trip home tomorrow. :YMHUG:

Smooth sailing! Enjoy your relaxation day. Good idea before the trek home. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon

I'm so happy all the vetty visits are done. Good news that the tumor is small. :-D Sounds like new radiation oncologists and IM vetty's there. I did talk on the phone to Dr. Custis before I went. They are all wonderful people there. You can tell that they really care about the animals and helping them.

Interesting AMPS yesterday! Sending safe and boring travel vines for tomorrow. You'll both be so happy to be home.
