Good Morning, Everyone. Full Strawberry Moon Party tonight--all kitties invited! fll_moon

Yesterday's high AMPS and subsequent dive seems to have subsided and we have a pretty good AMPS this morning. Rusty's dose was raised by 2 drops and is now what I am calling a skinny 2.25 units (3.10mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe). He had a good night sleeping with his beans and woke us up 10 minutes early with meows and kitty kisses. We had a good test, good shot, triple-combo-plate breakfast (FF T&G, Wellness Turkey, Paw Lickin' Chicken), first sitting eaten, a delicious "lung treat" (Allerplex in Stage 1 Beechnut turkey baby food), and a schmooze. We are ready to start the day! Tonight is the much-awaited Full Strawberry Moon party. The kitties have been planning it all week. Rusty will give details, below.

Today it is starting out very warm and humid (rained all night). Nothing special planned for the beans. We will go out for a walk this morning and hopefully this afternoon I will get out on my bike. Tomorrow Edward and I are leading a paddle, and on Tuesday I am climbing a mountain. I may go on a bike & hike on Thursday. Linda Bear Man arrives on Sat., and we all go down to Camp Stu on Sunday for a couple of days.

Yo Kitties! It's here!! The Full Strawberry Moon Party will be tonight in the TreeHouse that Mannie built. Elsa, Bug and Lola are the hosts and Elsa tells me that all is ready: the grills are set up, the Zip Lines are in order; the plasma TV is working, the stove is good to go, and we are all ready for fun. Tess will pick you up in the Kitty Bus. All kitties invited! The Kitchen Krew has been working on the menu all week and has come up with some fabulous strawberry-inspired menu items:
Appetizers: Strawberry-lime punch; Strawberry ale; niptinis (no strawberries--for the purists); Ollie's pink shrimp in nip wontons dipped in strawberry mint sauce; Ripley's Strawberry Mojitos with muddled catnip; Bug and Lola's (Paw Print Pizza) special chicken-liver pizzas on a new strawberry-infused catnip crust with fresh basil (the basil is Wink's suggestion);
Entrees: Neko's Strawberry Balsamic chicken; Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Salmon, with Catmint Mayo; Grilled Rabbit kabobs with strawberry dipping sauce; Grilled Bison burgers topped with sliced strawberries and fresh rosemary;
Desserts: LL Pastry Chef Tess's Special Torte with Strawberry-Catmint coulee; Maggie's Strawberry Cheesecake; Paw Print Pizza's Strawberries and Cream dessert pizzas; Tobey's Cimmamum-Strawberry cookies; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits; Delicious Strawberry Tea infusions created by Elsa, Kitteh Barista.

See you all at the Tree House this evening, ready to celebrate. Kitchen Krew, get ready for an early pick-up. We've lots to do!

Morning Ella and Rusty, looking much better for Rusty and glad he's feeling better. Good luck on this new dose, and Rusty seems to be taking to it. Today sounds like a good day to kick back and do whatever you and Edward want and no schedules.

Rusty, what an aswesome menu and can't wait to feast on it. Great and thank you for adding my strawberry cheesecake in there. I'd better get crackin and finish off the trimmings. I'll bring two. See ya shortly at the Treehouse, Mags

I'm so happy to see more Rusty type numbers today :-D a fabulous WCR for the big party tonight!

I think the kitters will have some great fun...that moon is already big and bright. Tobey and Gracie have been baking tons of cookies....both ovens have been going nonstop! Gracie has decided to make her Daddy's amazing recipe for cactus strawberry daiquiris....altered to be FD friendly. Mike has picked up tons of ice already! I might have to sneak a pitcher to leave here!

The menu looks great and all three kitties are waiting for the bus...sleeping bags and all. Even Gus is coming. I hope you and Edward can rest with all that kitty cacophony.

Ripley was up early getting ready for tonight's party ~ she already made several pitchers of the mojitos. Unfortunately, I think she was tempted by the catnip. She had a crazy look in her eyes right before she fell asleep on her rocker. She may need to 'sleep it off' before she heads on up to Mannie's treehouse. Silly goose couldn't wait, I guess.

Ella - you make me tired just talking about all that exercise!

Yo Rusty - Mama ask if you would please show me, KT and especially Dakota how to do that low number tonight? Maybe ALL of us need to have a talk about givin' beans nice numbers for a whole week - ALL of us at da same time! We would all worry beans but there would be lots of GREEN smilies! I has my partEE bag packed, I sneaked a bunch of cattails in der - ever had fresh picked cattail? NO NO Not the fuzzy ones, da GREEN ones that grow in da water! YUM! Dey make good canned snacks too! We haz lots of dem! Hope Tess isn't late...shuld I start up da Baja Bug and get sum others? I haz my goggles! :cool:

BIG HUGS! Oh was that moon BEAUTIFUL last night! Gotta run...I hear KT messin' with the car keys...

Rusty is coming down nicely--not too fast! He's already at the Tree House with Elsa, Bug, Lola and the Kitchen Krew, getting all ready for the big party. He's lucky to escape the awful hot, humid weather here! (He was outside briefly, but decided to come in and sit in front of the door that goes down to the basement (where it is a nice, cool 65 degrees :-D ). The beans had a nice morning walk, but it was already too warm and VERY HUMID--like a sauna.

Rusty! I'm on my second round to picks up more kittehs! Boy that menu sounds delish! Do you think we has enough strawberries? I can swing through the fields and gets lots more flats! Hmmmm, I thinks I hears that Little White Thing up on the roof! Well, we cna stacks strawberries up there and she can hold on to them! -- Tess

Checkers is keeping his numbers in check today, in anticipation of all those goodies on the menu tonight.

RUSTY! WOW !!!! on the menu. You have outdone yourself! If Elsa hadn't confined me to my room I'd come and crash the fuds table. :-D You kitties have he best of times. Mannie is SO PROUD that his treehouse is party central tonight. I am sure he will be watching all from the Bridge. :cool:

Rusty - WOW on the menu!!!! Paw prints Pizza is already to go, I've been working very hard on my tea infusions, and they are mega good. Bug ad Lola and I are ready toh ep wiht the kitchne krew too. OOOOOOOO this is such funs! The weather is purrfect, warm and the clouds and rains have left us! We nay get to see the moon!!!!! ~~ Elsa, and Bug and Lola

Moonie came to me the other night in a dream and told me that she and the other GA kitties will be attending the Strawberry Full Moon Party tonite!!! The melodies will be heard by all--
DH said I called put her name in the middle of the night, and I know my darling visited me--

Rusty is staying in blue after that nice green nadir. I hope he doesn't bounce too high with all the strawberry creations at the party!

Roni, How wonderful that Moonie visited you last night in your dream. I'm sure that she, Stu, Mannie, and all our beloved GAs will be celebrating with the LL kitties tonight. We'll all be listening for the Celestial Kitty Chorus singing at the Bridge.

Wonderful day for the LagoonMeister! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: The lagoon is so much safer for the other kitties when he's in residence. :-D The moon was so large last night it looked like a search light was on. Tonight should be fabulous. Rusty has outdone himself with the menu.
