Yesterday Neko had the exact same start as today, but unfortunately ended her blue streak with a visit to Huangshan City. (aka Yellow Mountain City, sounds more exotic than bouncing to yellow. :lol: Plus I've been there.)

Yet again I go to sleep on rising numbers and wake up to lower numbers. Can't complain too much - I do love that BLUE. Neko started asking for food almost an hour before the alarm was to go off, so I do wonder whether she had gone lower. I am still doing my Lantus cartridge experiment - we are now on day 51. There's still a quarter of the cartridge left and previously I had been tossing it when it got close to 40 days. It seems, however, that it is still working just fine. Even though Neko hasn't gotten a lot green that I've seen, she's also not visiting that other floor much (anti-jinx).

It's another fine summer day here, not too hot, sunny and a little breeze. Neko has done a yard patrol and a hummingbird watch from the deck. The solarium isn't too hot so is again occupied.

I'm thinking of Kathie today, so sad to lose a kitty so young. :sad:

Hi Wendy, yes nothing wrong with that color it's nice to sleep,Lucky wakes me at 5am so I think he might be lower but wont leave me alone until I'm up, the sends the troops in when i start moving around to assure me getting up :lol: Yes temp here is also nice today. Again we lose another furry one my heart goes out to Kathie and to Zeus :sad:

Neko's numbers looking pretty today.
I used my last cartridge for about 60 days, and it was fine.
When I started on the new cartridge, I expected it to do something different to Lucy's numbers, but nothing like that happened.

Well done Neko! One of her flatter cycles. Today when we were lining up for the PS test, Theo was getting too close so I told Neko, go whack him, so she did. :lol:

@Carla - A blue surf with a bonus dip into the green. :mrgreen:

@Linda - I think flat blue is my favorite night time cycle. And here too, when one cats wants to eat, they both do. It was indeed a rough way to start the day hearing the news about Zeus.

@Ella - An amazingly shallow cycle with a bit of a slide, a great cycle for Neko. :mrgreen: My mother wants a little bit of your rain for her garden.

@Mariko - Nice cycles happen so seldom, so I'm really happy to see it. Interesting that you get 60 days on a cartridge, I'll have to see how it goes. A lot of people here change pens much earlier. I'm glad it all worked out last night, even if the board got a little slow.

Well done on all counts, Neko! Great day, which I know made your bean very happy. And good job keeping that rascal Theo in line. :lol: :lol: What did Ron think of the plane crash? :shock:

@Anne - Missed you while I was composing. And yes, there was a quick lagoon touchdown and retreat. It could have been longer, I just did the one test in the back half of the cycle. Darn random nadirs. :lol: :roll: Yellow Mountain (which we hiked and should be on everyone's bucket list) is named for the Chinese Emperor. Yellow was his special colour. I was getting tired of reporting Neko's visits to Pinksville and needed a name for the yellow trip. ;-)

@Liz - Great partners think alike, or at least post almost at the same time. :lol: And YES on the happy beans today. It was just so funny me telling Neko "go whack him" and then she did. Big crash day yesterday. There was also a big train accident in Lac-Megantic Quebec, even worse results. :sad: Ron's summary on the plane crash "egregious pilot error" but of course we have to wait for the findings, it's not always the obvious that is the truth.
