We have almost bookend preshots again this morning. I did get the wee hours elevator call, but I'm getting fairly quick at the pick up and fall back asleep. Closer to daylight the civie hopped up onto bed and entered Neko's personal space. She slid off the bed before I could grab her. It's hard on her to jump so far down. So she got a little extra acupressure this morning.

There's been lots of purring and belly exposure this morning. She did try out the solarium and for some reason came back in. Dunno why, but she's back out there again now. I guess it just wasn't warm enough for her first time.

Sunny days here, tulips are starting to bloom, time to get out in the garden. Sending vines to all in need today.

That was very sneaky of her! Hopefully she'll be a bit less dramatic today.

Especially when she was up 40 points an hour later with just a small LC snack. NEVER trust the cat! She'll get some earlier pokes today. And the depot should be reducing.

Wendy, would A bench at the foot of your bed help Neko with her night visits? I recovered a padded piano bench and now Forest and a Lucy can jump up onto the bed. Before that I was doing the middle of the night elevator calls.

PS the bench is 17 inches high.

Neko maxes out about 10 inches for a jump and the bed is 28 inches high. DH did make some stairs that are at the food of the bed, but I think they are a bit narrow for her. She can do it, but it's easier to yell for service.

I hope the acupressure helped, but a lift by the bean elevator is undoubtedly more attractive. Maybe you need a bed that is lower to the floor. You can always cut down the legs!

Those signs of spring sound wonderful. We had a warm day yesterday, but it is now just a memory. Planning to go out on our first paddle on Wednesday: the "Lake Abenake Ice Breaker".
