Good Morning L&L

Bubba is keeping it green yesterday At +3 this morning he was 9 and I thought for sure this AM he would be in the blues but, he surprised me. My dang keyboard is back to it's annoying tricks of not letting me type certain numbers and letters and punctuation; it's always the same ones. :banghead: It's making it very slow going for me with using the touch screen keyboard.

I started on the Restasis and steroid drops for my eyes yesterday. So far I do not have any of the side effects like stinging. Hope these two meds help. :)

Vines for all beans and kitties in need today and sending out extra super doper vines for Azalea during her healing process and lots of rest vines for Sina.

Nice AMPS Bubbs!
I hope the meds help you Bobbie! I was diagnosed with chronic dry eye syndrome many years ago. I wore contacts at the time so was told to leave them out of my eyes for 6 months. The timing sucked! Not only did my daughter get married during that 6 month period but I did as well. After 6 months I put them back in and that night I woke up in pain. So no more contacts. And luckily it was the contacts causing 100% of my pain.

those are some beautiful numbers Bubba... you are starting to make this look easy my friend... now keep it up so momma bean can work it back down again... and then its open door time!!!... it will be awesome buddy i promise... hope the eye drops help Bobbie... we all know how much we need our eyes as beans to sugar cats... :bighug::bighug:

I hope the eye drops will help soon. That's one of my worst fears - having something wrong with my eyes. For some strange reason, I am absolutely terrified of having to put something into my eye. Luckily, I have never had to wear contacts or do eye drops, but I think I might have to hire someone to hold me down and put in eye drops. :nailbiting::oops::facepalm:

Isn't it funny the things that give us anxiety? Mine is getting melanoma or developing lung problems. Here's hoping that you NEVER need to do drops in your eyes. They really aren't bad at all.

Bobbie, I did not realize that you wore contacts. I wear them and use Systane Ultra drops. I managed to be able to wear them throughout my cancer treatments that dry out everything in one's body by using them. You have probably tried them however.

Nice Bubba. You'll be off it again soon.

Glad the drops help. In the 80's I wore contacts. One day DH and I went inner tubing down the Delaware River had my contacts in as usual. But this time I somehow got an infection and have not been able to wear contacts since. So glasses for me since.

Nice report on Bubba!:cat::D

I really hope the drops help your eyes. With that price tag, it should give you night vision or xray vision:smuggrin: I can't stand anything to do with my eyes. You should see me when they try to put the drops in to dilate them. My body has this uncontrollable need to jump out of the chair. I am a horrible eye patient.

Nice work Bubbs...keep it green. I wore contacts for 25 yrs until my eyes started rejecting them. Finally bit the bullet 8 years ago and had lasik done. I don't drive at night, my depth perception is shot but that's more likely just bad eyes and age that can't be fixed. If I had street lights out here I'd be OK. Hope those drops help!

Bobbie I sure hope your eyes are healing with the drops:bighug:

Yo, Bobbie,
Hoping Bubba keeps surfing for you. Green and surfing definitely great way to start any day especially when it's white and raw outside.

Hope the new eye drops help. Crossing paws fingers and toes for you. Haven't any familiarity with the two meds but if eyes don't feel well... as for side effect of stinging: hoping for no stinging, either! :bighug: Anti-sting healing vines for you!!!!!!

Thanks too for the extra healing vines for Azalea and sleep vines for her bean. Means all. ❤️❤️❤️

I had problems with my eyes getting dry a couple of years ago. My eye doctor told me to switch contact lens solutions and that helped. I hope the drops help your eyes. Sending prayers.

I don't wear contact, just reading glasses and pair a for driving ( didn't want to do the progressive lens yet) When I was a teenager and visiting my cousin, she wore them and it fascinated me that she could put then into her eyes. I talked her into letting me put one of them into my eye. I almost couldn't get it out! I was terrified and she was horrified that a couple of hundred dollars were in my eye and she'd be out the cash. That did me in to ever want to wear contacts.

Oh wow, that would have been very scary! The first time I tried to take my contacts out, it took me an hour to get one eye out. Finally, after I got mad and swore at the contact lens, LOL!, I was able to get it out!!! I wear multi-focal lens by CooperVision called Biofinity. Have tried other brands but these work best for me. It would be hard for me to go back to glasses on a full-time basis. I used to wear two pair around my neck because like you, a different pair for reading and a different pair for driving and I could not get used to the no line bifocals.

I think that is what worked for me too! I got so mad and cursed and when I yelled, I must have flexed my eye just right and the dang thing popped out onto my cheek !

Just the word bifocals makes me think we are talking about geriatric and not us LOL

Good thing your cure was easy but I know not fun when you don't want to be wearing glasses. I heard of the contact solution being the culprit drying out the eyes or peeps being allergist to the solution. Wonder if that is something you could explore.
It was almost 10 years ago so I guess I'm over it and will put up with my glasses which aren't on my face most of the day anyways because I just need them for distance.
