Should I increase given her AMPS back up or hold another day in case?
with Lantus dose decisions are based on how low a dose takes your kitty. Regarding increases:

Hold the dose for 3 - 5 days (6 - 10 consecutive cycles) if nadirs are less than 200 before increasing the dose by 0.25 unit.
Are the antibiotics post dental? FWIW it was when my kitty finished his post dental antibiotics that his numbers started to head down... fast.

She was off antibiotics for 48 hours after her dental before I increased. 2.0 just never seemed to be her dose. We will test +2 to see if increase affected her. Thanks.

PMPS was at 9:30 pm at 50; 30 minutes later 49; 30 minutes later 47. Not rising. Should we feed? then retest in 30 after food? Please advise.

No we have not given insulin. She just got an increase this morning at AMPS. Our caretaker is handling all the testing at the sanctuary so we need to be safe and conservative as she needs to get some rest.

Then I would not shoot. If she is not going to be able to stay and test for at least four or five hours, I would have her feed some high carb food and test in 20.

Reduction earned back to 2 units in the morning.

Have you tested again yet? How flexible is your schedule? If you shoot 1.5 hours late, can you shoot that much later tomorrow, too?
Tested 3 times so far. We can change her PMPS time and move her back in 30 minute increments. However, having so much going on at the sanctuary we need to keep testing to a minimum. Caretaker has to go to bed and get some rest. Should we feed and skip?
