Good Morning L B & L ~

Status Quo with the Bubster. So far so good with 2 little reductions. He is spending more time with us and sleeps next to me all night long. ( Do you hear Lionel Richie singing?)

OT:
Forrest is doing a lot of scarfing and barfing......but he is eating so that is good.

It is cold here but nothing like the Midwest is experiencing. Stay safe and warm! And sending cooler air vines to our friends in Australia @Bron and Sheba

Yes, I give him the same 6 mini meals a day as Bubba gets. When I get up at 6AM, Forrest wants to go outside. It's the times that he is out for about 15 -20 minutes that he seems to have trouble with eating and barfing. I think he was outside trying to poop and couldn't and he gets nauseous. Poor boy. He is a little trooper though. Last night he wanted outside to play in the snow. I'll post the little video I did of him trying to catch a snowflake. He is still so playful for a senior cat.


ETA: I can’t upload it from my phone. if I get a chance I’ll utube it and try.

@Joanne&TinySole , we are doing well. Mom is good and rocking her PT and OT. Thanks for asking. I hope you and your gang are well. How does a full night sleep feel?? LOL
 
We just got wind chill warning until tomorrow night. 15-30 below zero.

So funny trying to catch the snow. Then he's where did it go I just had it!!!!!!!! Maybe this one I can keep.

Bubba is still on house arrest. :( He is such a good sport about it and takes it in stride as he sees the rest of the gang go out. Sometimes he goes down the basement crying for a 1/2 a minute........ Hopefully soon he'll be back out again. I am too afraid to let him out in cold weather while on insulin as the body has to work hard to stay warm and that could impact his BG's to come crashing down.

Loved seeing Forrest playing in the snow. When my cats were younger I used to let them out but now Ravan is like me! He wants to stay warm :cat:

Went down to 20 below ZERO last night & stayed there all day today,with the wind Blowing! Tonight 24 below!!BRRRRR (Sunday 49 Degrees o_Oo_Oo_O) Very strange weather here in Chicago :eek:

I feel for your area right now! The teens are too cold for me!
 
I loved the video of Forrest in the snow. When you said he vomited after being outside I had thought he might be eating grass then vomiting which Sheba used to do every time she could get outside. But then I saw all that snow!!!
My goodness those temperatures you are all having are very low. Today it is going to be around 100F here and we are trying to find ways to keep the chickens cool. We’ll bring one who’s been sick recently, but recovered, inside in the cool.... we have air conditioning ... but all the others will stay outside unless they get too distressed with the heat. They have shade and we will have the hose sprinkler on for them.

I hope your heat breaks soon. Why can’t the whole world just have temperate weather???
 
@Bobbie And Bubba cannot find your “recipe(ratio) of SEB? Nelli continues es to have a very bad t8me well after dinner with her “mouth”
I’d like to make syrup (SEB TO WATER ratio?) and syringe down her mouth.

Glad I made it back to the board and caught that video. Looks like he's having so much fun!
Both Bailey and I would be happy to watch him through a window. NO frolicking in the snow for either of us.

Love Bubba's all green ss! Congrats on those reductions! He's looking great!
 
I gave a teaspoon of the slurry twice a day. Remember to keep away from other meds as it can inhibit absorption if given within 2 hours of meds.
I used to make the 1 teaspoon/ 1/2 cup mix or sometimes I would double the mix and make. It keeps well in the frig..
I put in food as I didn’t have to syringe but 5 mls at a time.
