I think he's due for another increase tomorrow; he seems to be happy with those yellows and blues but we're trying to get some greens once in a while. We'll see what he does today !!

Today I've got to shop for new glasses and maybe get my fuschias!

Maybe if you can catch him when he starts to drop & feed him some 5% carbs you can keep him from dropping too low?

He was only 5 years old when he got diabetes? I wonder what triggered it? Maybe he was eating dry food ? Was he overweight? Any steroids? Or maybe just genetics.

I hope the increase gets him some green

No steroids, but he is overweight... I'm inclined to think it's genetics!

Try to get him moving,playing! Losing weight can help. You can read a lot on the internet about how dangerous it is for our animals to be overweight! Just losing weight can put them into remission sometimes

The only time he plays is in the morning when I get up; he's happy, he knows he's gonna have breakfast !!
I know it's a problem, I even thought of buying him a harness and leash and walk him every day like a dog !!

He's not impressed with our threat, he's even challenging us: PINK and I was so happy, it's been 16 cycles without any Pinks, I was sure he was over with that uggly color....
Calipers are all set for tomorrow's increase and he better watch out!! From now on, increases will be done every 3 to 4 days max !! We have to go forward not backward my ti-minou !!
